On arrival we were told our room wasnt ready and though this was a bad start but the reception staff were very friendly and had the room ready exactly when they said they would (about an hour later).

The hotel has a small overpriced shop that sells the usual tourist tat as well as drinks and food (frozen pizzas and nachos). Use the 7 11 across the road or the wallgreens across the main crossroad as they are much cheaper. An example being bottles of water.

Hotel cost = about $2.20 a bottle
Wallgreens = 4.99 for 20 bottles

Didnt use the hotel restaurant but did look and smell nice.
Didnt use the hotel bar but in passing always looked dark and empty.

The hotel has a desk that sells tickets and allows you to arrange transfers which we didnt really use apart from one transfer to disney (17 dollars !!!!). I would advise not using the desk at all if the guy called Bob is working as he really is as a++hole. Told us he had seen our names on the list for a transferwe that we missed even though we were early then told us we hadnt even booked the shuttle. If hes working wait till hes not there and use another member of staff. 17 doallrs to disney is also a huge rip off as they are set times and locations that you cannot change and they WILL leave without you. Look for AJ who is always outside the hotels front grounds who changes 12 doallrs and is very flexible on locations etc.

The room was spotless with two double beds a new flat screen tv, fridge and microwave. The only negative to the whole room was the fridge was clean but really smelled inside. It really needed a good scrub or something. The aircon does make some noise but we slept with no probems at all.

Our room was on the 3rd floor overlooking the carpark / main road / motorway and we never heard any of them during our stay. We also never heard any other of the guests during our trip.

I would use the hotel again but would most likly ask for the fridge to be changed if it was the same. Duroing our trip other family members stayed at the international palms down the road which is apparently a better and more expensive hotel. I can honestly say quality in was much better value for money.

Hotel is in an excellent location. Stayed in Block 2000 on 2nd floor overlooking the car park. We encountered no noise from other rooms or the car park. Room was ok, the beds were comfy but the bathroom definately needed updating. The bath had no coating left on the bottom of it. Air conditioning unit was noisy but we were so tired we slept through it. The maid cleaned everyday, left clean towels and made the beds up. They were changed a couple of times. We left her a tip daily. We used the hotel shuttle bus to get to Universal and Seaworld. In June there were 3 buses to Universal in the morning and 3 for the returning trip, there was 1 bus to Seaworld, however in July the amount of shuttles buses increased. You needed to book these the day before. Only used the pool area once, was clean with loads of towels available to use. If you want a cuppa in the room dont forget to take a kettle. We took the free bus to busch gardens which we picked up at The Crab House, again you had to prebook by phone. Loads of places to eat within walking distance, Perkins, Chillis, Golden Corral, Denny's McDonalds, Burger King. Sizzlers near Wonderworks good value if you ate there on the lunchtime menu (before 3). Sweet Tomatoes was a change as they do salads, soup and pasta. Went to Toojays (Dr Philips Blvd) a Jewish Deli on recommendation and couldnt fault it. The only one we wouldnt return to was
Ci Ci Pizza's as it was really dirty. Parks amazing, rides brilliant, Harry Potter fantastic, ate in 3 Broomsticks and didnt find it too expensive. We took a couple of SEALED water bottles into the parks (wont let you take in open ones) and just refilled them at the water fountains (normally based near the restrooms) . However, one day the water tasted vile, so we bought a refillable cup, you can get refills for 99 cents, or they will fill it with water for free if you ask. These cups are not just for the day they can be reused throughout your holiday
Florida Mall was good, but found the best bargains at Buena Vista Outlet and Vineyard. Make sure you wear comfortable shoes, never done so much walking.
Would stay here again due to the location.

The rooms were basic as expected as we did not intend on staying there much with all the things to do in Orlando. However, on arrival our towels were dirty. Also, the bathroom smelled of damp and the ac unit is very noisy. The thing that annoyed us the most is that on arrival we were sent to guest services for our welcome pack. Beware here because the person at the desk worked for another company which we were not aware of. He sold us cheap Disney tickets if we agreed to come look round a new resort. Well this turned into a whole morning of being hard sold a time share. Do not fall for their tricks! Otherwise the staff were friendly and there are good transport links to parks.

This hotel was perfect for us. The rooms are fairly basic but nice, they have large windows looking out onto a passengers walk way which was not very private so we just kept our big curtains pulled as we had purchased so much shopping there and we didn't want people to see our new valuables. We were a little paranoid because on th door they had a sign which stated to make sure our door was locked and attached was a large chain. But nothing ever happened so it was just a precaution. We didn't spend much time in our room as we were so busy we barely got a chance to sleep zzz. The common grounds area was lovely they had 2 pools which we only had chance to go here once but it was great. The rooms were cleaned everyday. We stayed here 2 weeks and still ran out of time so make sure you go prepared. We had the buffet breakfast once and found it terrible, very overpriced and a bad selection. We had a drink in the bar one night but it didn't have a great atmosphere in it so we headed out most nights. The staff are very helpful and it's geared towards families. They help you plan your trip, you can book your tickets here at a reasonable price. The location of this hotel is perfect, it's right on international drive which is a great place to get access to all the park. This hotel also provides free shuttle services to universal, sea world, bush gardens but not any of the Disney parks as the others are all within 10mins, Disney world is approx 30mins you can take a bus here or a taxi if your in a group. The hotel will arrange all this. It doesnt really matter where you stay on International drive as you can get around easily enough by the iRide Trolley service. This Brings you all along international drive including both shopping outlets (premium & premier outlets) if your into shopping these are a must. You can get designer brands at a fraction of the RRP. But I would recommend going here at night as their outdoors, in the blistering heat Its not a pretty site trying to shop. The I.Ride red line runs every 20 mins and cost $1.25 per trip so I would definitely recommend getting a weekly pass which cost $10.00 for unlimited rides. This is a great way to get around international drive confidently and cheap. I would recommend going to downtown Disney, we only got to see this one our last night and it's great for a night we would of loving to spend a bit longer here. You can also go to the Florida mall from international drive it's amazing. Food wise: The hotel is situated directly beside a huge Mc Donald's with a funzone inside and a large menu (healthy food included). Theres a lovely burger take away across the road called checkers these are a must try, especially the fries there yummy, a TGI Fridays across the road beside a Walmart. So many buffets along international drive offer meals at approx $10, panda express(orange chicken, delish) so many to choose from. We loved to head up to city walk universal most nights as there's so much happening, and it's free into, you only have to pay for the park so don't be mislead on purchasing extra days for this nightlife. Anyways if I was going back to Orlando I would stay here again as it gives you everything you need with its prime location. Hope this helps and enjoy your trip

Stayed here 5 yrs & loved this place , rooms have been renovated , but in general the hotel has dropped its standards . We requested a low floor overlooking the smaller pool to be told we were on 6th floor overlooking the bigger , noisier pool , declined & were given 2 nd floor overlooking big noisy pool . Kids running about screaming & shouting at 3 am , not good . People talking loudly at all hrs , not good . Room above jumping about all night , not good . Cleaner who emptied bins , straightened beds & changed towels okay but beds not changed in 2 weeks , not good . Security staff at gates pleasant ( about the only staff who were ! ) . Excellent location with free shuttle to universal ( book at attraction desk day before ) but we walked to universal . Free wifi is a bonus but most hotels provide this now . Don't think we will stay here again .
