Having stayed at one of the Disney World Resort area hotels before we appreciated the location and the complimentary transport this area provided. The hotel however was in the middle of a total remodel during our stay and it was dusty, really busy and incredibly noisy.

Upon arrival we were greeted with surly indifferance and the attitued of staff during the duration of our stay was at best adequate. While our room was always neat and clean the corridors were constantly awash with bags of rubbish and piles of dirty linen, although housekeeping staff did their best to keep the entrance foyer neat and tidy even though it was always stuffed with people. The grab and go breakfast was a joke, more late and slow (and expensive). All in all it felt more like a package holiday and was crammed with teenagers on vacation club breaks who came in at all hours and made a lot of noise but not as much as the air conditioning which was trying to mimic the space shuttle take off at cape canaveral. At least the pool area was free from the vacation clubbers who were too busy on their organised excursions. The pool was fine, plenty of loungers and towels, some shade, no atmosphere. The restaurants were generally like a ghost town with the odd lone diner and having tried there once we know why guest cross the road to the crossroads dining and leisure park. On a more positive note the balconied rooms were spacious, well appointed and clean, they had comfortable beds, complimentary safe and coffee maker but a fridge was not included and would have had to have been ordered at an extra charge. I could find lots more to say about this hotel most of it fairly negative but like the staff, I just cant be bothered....

First, i was told, by getaroom.com that it was a disney property. it is not. secondly, that it would have a microwave and a refrigerator. it did not. most floors have chipped paint (and i mean chunks) and broken down vending machines. if you want to use the microwave you have to go into the lobby. i have stayed at super 8 motels that were cleaner and had a microwave and fridge in my room and i paid a fraction of the price! the sliding glass door to our balcony wouldn't latch, so beware if u have children, as they are not screened it either. not to mention we paid for the Disney view to see the fireworks, and all u could hear was this very loud exhaust fan from the restaurant below. so loud! we stayed there because we were guaranteed a balcony to relax on and that we would have the kids eat free or at least cheaply. not! pizza hut buffet was 60.00 for two adults, two kids 10 and under (whom are supposed to be discounted) and a 2 year old (who was supposed to be free by the way). service was good. nice people, just waaay under staffed, and quite frankly a dive. stay at a quality inn. the Mona Lisa is wonderful. a bit more in price like 70 dollars, however, you get 2 bedrooms with king sized beds that are AWESOME, and living room, with a leather pull out sofa bed, a wonderful balcony and a FULL KITCHEN thats fully equiped and has all brand new appliances. oh and its CLEAN. and u get an extra full bathroom to boot.

I almost didn't stay at this hotel because of some of the negative reviews I saw on here. I'm glad I made the decision to try it out! This hotel was perfect! The room was clean, the staff were so nice, the view from the room and the location were AMAZING!!! We stayed for 4 nights and didn't want to leave at the end of our trip! I would absolutely stay at this hotel again and I would recommend it to everyone! They even have a toddler pool next to the big pool which was perfect for my 3 year old son.

I just came back from Orlando a day ago, the hotel seemed to be okay speically with the location, but after walking into the room I found it has been ages since it was lastly maintained, one of the lamps was not working, the bath was in bad condition, the AC was so old, we rented a fridge and it was not good. Of course I shouldn't speak about the cleaning of the room, the carpets was not hoovered for months, I guess, I have my crawling baby who has been enjoying getting things out from teh capret straight to his mouth. I didn't know why we paid what so called "resort Fees", though I find that the hotel amenties is not something extraordinary to pay for. In short words, I don't recommend it at all.

We stayed o the 6th floor which was being renovated, our room smelled like fresh paintwe were dizzy after a few minutes of being there. The carpet had fresh paint on it and the bathroom door didnt close properly, the vanity was falling apart!!! The noise of the workers woke us up really early every morning, the elevators very very very slow and dirty. PLEASE DO NOT STAY HERE, THIS IS NOT A RESORT NOT EVEN A DECENT HOTEL!!!! the only good thing was the free transportation to the Disney parks.
