“Very CLEAN and Beautiful resort!!!!!!!!”
Reviewed May 17, 2013

I'll keep this short and sweet, since it was all good!
1st) The location was a few miles from all the amusement parks, so it was just far enough from the crowds and traffic. But yet very easy to get to everything there.
2nd) The resort was huge! the 2 restaurants were kinda pricy...But yet very good. The also had a ice cream parlor and pizza hut which delivers in the resort as well. and a nice small cafeteria as well.
3)The gym was awesome......If you like to workout like my wife and I do? Well this is your place. very nice setup. we loved it!
4)The rooms are clean and very comfy. we loved them as well
5)The unit we were in, had 8 total bbq's 6 gas and 2 iron (were you have to use wood or charcoal) Very nice pool and jacuzzi with a bar to order food and drinks from. And i'm not talking about the main pool area. this was a smaller version. But well equipped

In all we loved it and had a great time!

Room Tip: If you need a late check out? forget it! they will only give you a hour? so if you have a late fligh...

We got a 2 bedroom unit. It over looked the golf course and was beautiful. The unit was perfect!!! The check in was easy! The pools were very nice. The mini market was wonderful. We got fruit, eggs, bacon, yogurt and bread. The staff was very helpful! The front deck had newspaper every morning. There was plenty of parking. We were 15 mins to the parks. It was an easy drive with no extra tolls. I was really impressed with the staff!! They were well trained and very helpful. We ran into a kid issues where we turned in keys but one kids forgot his glasses...not a problem!! We had everything we needed to solve the issue within mins!!! We love this resort and would return in a heart heat!!! The staff makes you comfortable and happy!!!!!

The MGV is a beautiful resort! We were in building 81 room 1401. Nice and spacious. I enjoyed having a view of the main pool area. The only complaint I have is that the water pressure in the shower was horrible. I had to wash and rinse my hair under the tub spigot.

Room Tip: I enjoyed a higher floor simply for the views.

What a great Hotel! There were 3 adults sharing a 2 bedroom 3rd floor apartment in the Deville complex. You will need to be organised regarding actually getting to the hotel as it isn't directly on I- drive but set back in its own grounds However, if you're not in a car, the staff are happy to send a bellman to the front gate to collect you and your belongings in either a people carrier or golf cart. Staff were exceptionally helpful and recommended the deville suite to us and we're so glad they did. From our lake view balcony we watched turtles, herons, ducks and ducklings, rabbits, an eagle, an armadillo, squirrels and night-time visits from a raccoon. What a great way to use up leftover salads and other bits to feed these creatures. At the pool I entertained my fellow bathers by foolishly leaving my bag open so that a squirrel was able to get into it and run off with my bikkies. Lizards are everywhere you step, and when we did the nature trail we found 3 different snakes. If you've got nature-loving kids with you its great. The rooms were a really good size. The master bedroom has a huge jacuzzi bath in it. Great for a good soak after a long hot trek around the parks. The beds are 6' wide and have pillow choices hard or soft, and either a feather duvet or sheets and soft blanket. Probably the best bed I've ever slept in. Even the 3 seater sofa-bed convert was comfortable. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need, washing up liquid, dishwasher powder, box of tide detergent and sponge. They had soap, shampoo, conditioner and lotion but not shower gel. The combination washer/drier is a dream to use, I wish I had one at home. We went to the dollar store and bought liquid wash and drier sheets. The second bedroom is the other side of the kitchen and has 2 doors so is rather more private. Ideal if you have teenagers, as they have their own little kitchenette and en-suite. Coffee is provided as a welcome pack in both kitchens. There is a TV and dvd player in each room, although we didn't take advantage of the films on offer. The staff did not mind at all being asked for extra stuff and were always courteous and friendly. We had a few rainy days, but there was plenty to do at the hotel complex, from exercise classes, bingo, creative classes and there wasn't a day in which nothing was happening. The children all seemed happy to be involved in things from what I saw. Our complex had its own warm swimming pool and large hot tub, which was very warm. I loved the gas barbecue set up. Lots of people had marinated their dinners all day whilst at the parks and then cooked them up in the evening. It was very sociable. I liked the fact that there was easy recycling and trash disposal. Up at the front desk they could not do enough to help, the staff were friendly, courteous and informative. We collected our free USA today paper each day and used the computer to print out coupons, directions etc. By the front desk is the access to the large pool, the bar, shop and small beach area. Very pleasant to sit on a nice beach chair with one of their amazing icecreams. I'd never seen so many things you could mix into an icecream!. There is fishing rod hire, paddle boats and snooker even if you don't go to the parks there's plenty to do on site. For shopping nearby, use either Walmart or Publix. We found the meat and chicken particularly good quality, but found the bread a little strange. Great value orange juice but couldn't find squash anywhere! Take advantage of the coupons you find everywhere and look out for happy hour bargains. Taco bell does 3 different wraps and a drink between 2pm and 5pm for a dollar each. Black Angus restaurant fabulous for all you can eat breakfast and great steaks, chicken and ribs. Got 15% off whole bill with a coupon. We were so pleased with the quality of the room and view that we will definitely choose this location and hotel again. Cannot praise it enough.

Room Tip: We loved opur Loved the De Ville suite. Furthest away, but best for view of golf course and lake v...

Can't say enough about this Marriott property. Even though we were not owners of the timeshare we were made to feel like the rest of the guests. Stayed in building 94 again but this time with a one bedroom and a king studio lock off. It had a large kitchen, dining room, and living room with a large screened in patio. .Dishes for 6 are included though room service is not if there for a week. The bedroom had a large king size bed, a chaise lounge, a jet hot tub and our own bathroom.Washer/dryer and dishwasher in the large one bedroom. The studio had it's own patio, bathroom and a kitchenette with a microwave, sink, small fridge and a coffee perk. Dishes for two are included.

If staying for two weeks try to arrange to stay in the same room. After one week is completed they will come and change your sheets and towels. They also clean the bathrooms. This is by far the best place we have ever stayed. Five stars all the way.

Try to stay away from the main pool areas if you want quiet. We chose the pool down from our building.

Room Tip: Building 94 is across from the main pool and overlooks the golf course. Beautiful spot. Choose the 5...

Nothing was wrong with this property, just what you would expect from a Marriott property. We were on the 3rd floor, w/elevator service, just about even w/the palm tree tops. Room overlooked the hot tub, which was a little TOO hot, and partial view of the larger pool. We had a screened in balcony w/table and ceiling fan. The room was so comfortable w/living area, dining room, and very well equipped kitchen w/stainless appliances, including washer/dryer, and granite counters. Bath was huge, w/double sinks/shower. The bedroom had the largest whirlpool tub I had ever seen. It was 3 feet deep w/two seats in it and multiple jets and timer. What a luxury. Bed was very comfortable, only complaint was the flat, mushy pillows. They also had a recycle bin in every room which saved a lot on trash.

Only complaint was the check in. We arrived at 2p.m. and check in was at 4, told us we had to wait till 4. We sat outside and read the provided USA Today then drove to the bldg. we were assigned, but no key. Sat in the shade and noticed other guests were unpacking and going into their villa. Went back to the front desk and were told since we had special request it would be 4 till be could be let in. We never made a special request, so they did assign us to a different bldg., which was better,, as it was in a quieter area.

Room Tip: 1322 was quiet and overlooked the spa and green area.
