We loved our stay at this hotel. The staff is excellent. They were always very helpfull and nice. The room is excellent, with great view of Wet n Wild lake and Universal Parks. Excellent breakfast, with free parking lot and easy access to main Orlando attractions.

We moved to this hotel after having problems with another hotel, and this place was paradise compared to what we were in before.

Check in and check out was a breeze, free parking was a plus. Location was superb. The price for our stay was a steal! The safe in the room was very useful, the room was bug free, the beds were comfortable. Shower and bath worked well, hot water was easily accessible. The fact our room had a sink in the bathroom and sink outside the bathroom was nice. However, around 2 pm every day our water would cut out and we wouldn't get any water coming out of our sinks or our shower. Fridge and microwave were VERY useful.
The pool area is gorgeous!! Big heated pool, two hot tubs (one 104 degrees, one 100 degrees). Tennis courts, basket ball courts. There is a bar located next to the pool, there is plenty of sunbathing room located all over the pool area.

Hotel seems to be a rather busy one, parking lot is usually very very full at the end of the night, and there are people constantly on the elevator, but I loved this hotel and would recommend it to anyone! Although it is busy, it seems to be rather quiet and no excess noise can be heard in the rooms.
Oh, and the views from the rooms are gorgeous!!

We stayed at this hotel for a couple of nights as it was very close to Universal Studio's.

First impressions were not great as it took forever to check in with a large queue.

Our room was clean, tidy and had a very comfortable bed.

We found the night manager to be very helpful and friendly, when we needed to print some passes etc when the business centre was closed.

They run a shuttle to Universal Studio's but due to the timings, we decided to drive which took about 5 mins.

Breakfast was in the attached restaurant and was very average but the eggs / bacon were hot as was the coffee. Breakfast was included in the room rate.

Plenty of on site free car parking.

Ideal for couples / families who are visiting for Universal Studios.

We traveled as a family of four, and stayed three nights while visiting Sea World and Universal theme parks. The price was very low per night, and the reviews were good, so we took a chance.

We arrived late at night, and check in was smooth. We were given a pass to display for free parking - a big plus. Parking was always available.

The room was as expected - on the small side but clean. There were signs of deferred maintenance like a ripple in the carpet that I kept tripping over and a weird gap in the bathroom tile. The shower took at least a full minute to warm up. The supplied toiletries had a nice scent and were replenished daily. I liked that there was a second vanity outside the bathroom.

The beds were comfortable, and had three comfortable pillows each.

Wifi access was free and was reliable. The television was a nice flat screen and was well placed in the room. The signal seemed a bit grainy.

We didn't check out the pool, hot tub, or basketball & tennis courts, but they looked nice.

We took advantage of the Universal tickets desk, and the staff member was friendly and fast.

The deli / gift shop had nice selections at a reasonable price.

The hotel offers free shuttle service to the theme parks, but we used our car. Access to International Drive was immediate, and we had no traffic problems at all.

We have no regrets about booking here, and will probably do so again when we come back for our next Orlando visit. It's not upscale, but it's nice enough, and it acted as a good home base.

This hotel is in a prime location. It has lots of restaurants in walking distance and is about 5 min drive from Universal. The room looked good. They had daily maid service. The pillows were really lumpy. The A/C for me was the biggest issue. They had a study table and chairs right in front of the A/C and even if I kept the A/C at 61 F temperature I was hot. If these issues were fixed it would be a really good hotel to try out. Free breakfast would have been a good plus as well.

We loved staying at the Best Western near Universal. The desk staff was wonderful, giving us help for restaurants and shopping. The Tourism booth at the hotel was fantastic. The girl in there gave us all the info we needed and more, on Universal, Disney, ordering food in, tipping, safety.... you name it!
Our bus driver from the hotel to Universal everyday was hilarious - Great job, Terry! When going to the park, Best western patrons have the shortest time on the bus . Last ones picked up to head there in the morning, and first ones dropped off at night. Bonus!
The pool was warm, there are 2 hot tubs, basketball & tennis courts... I would definitely stay here again. The rooms were fine. Clean, and big enough.
The only thing I would suggest to the hotel is... GET LONGER PILLOWS. They were a bit small, and almost square. A standard size queen pillow would be better. But this is a minor detail.
...And, to any and EVERY hotel out there... is there a reason you do not have hand-held shower heads??? There are hard to reach places that just doesn't cut it with a fixed shower head... if you know what I'm saying.....

Room Tip: We were on the 8th floor, overlooking the pool and courts. I liked that side, because when my kids...
