We traveled with our three children over New Years to Orlando, FL to visit Disney, Universal and Sea World. So close to everything and great atmosphere. Slightly older hotel but remodeled well. A view of Downtown Disney and Epcot from our room-including fireworks! We were able to arrange for tickets, transportation and get questions answered all from the comfort of the lobby- no running around! Then, I had to go to the ER suddenly during our stay because I had kidney stones. I was in a lot of pain and in the busy lobby an employee not even working in the valet parking area rushed to our aide. He got us a cab and told the driver exactly which hospital to go to. He saved us a lot of time- and me a lot of pain! I'd definately stay here again.

Do not be conned as we were by them saying Wyndham has took it over and completed a renovation! They spent all the renovation money on the lobby! We were overcharged and when we checked in we were lied to and could not get out of reservations without a $100 early departure fee! Beds not comfortable and room is old! They have added a few cosmetic upgrades but needs more! Regal Sun name is still everywhere. Stay at a Disney hotel or I would reccomend Lake Buena Vista Palace which is close to this hotel! Not happy at all with the mistake I made of staying here!!!

The first room assigned to us was a Motel like room, with humidity in the bathroom walls and a hole in the wall. Apparently this was a new addition to the hotel but does not have anything to do with the main tower rooms. We requested to be changed to a "hotel" room in the tower. Carlos Escobar, from the front desk, was very polite and helped us with our concerns. He made arrangements and the following day we were moved to a real hotel room (although we paid the upgrade for the new room). You can hear the noise in the next rooms. They should inform guests of the type of room they are getting. If we pay for a hotel room we should not get a "Motel" room, with corridors in front of the room doors. Wislane was in charged of the cleaning of our room, it was impecable. Excellent service.
