This resort was very relaxed and lush. The buildings were all brightly colored and well maintained. We stayed in a pirate room which was really cool. Our kids enjoyed the pirate ship beds, no need to bring toys. It was nice and clean. The main pool was awesome, cool slides and fun play area for the littles. Great resort to walk around. Their dinning areas were perfect for a disney vacation, variety of food and means to get it.

After two previous Disney World trips, this was the first "on site" hotel. After reading the reviews of the various resorts, I chose this to give my daugher a sence of the beach. Reviews were correct that is is a huge property & waiting for the bus can be a pain but even when we felt rushed to make a breakfast reservation we had plenty of time with busses making the rounds regularly. My daugher & I actually liked that we were in the Trinidad complex (we were in South - I think North would have been a little better) because we were far enough for a nice walk to the pool & food but far enough away to be away from the lights & noise. The rooms are small, & they are basic, but I would do it again because the hospitality is tops, the airport pickup & shuttle to the parks beat a rental, driving & parking, and lastly - the perks you get for being a resort guest are nice. I did hear that the New Orleans resort was a favorite of many - I may try that one next time. One bit of advise - Plan at least one sit down meal with a reservation inside the parks. The food is fantastic & access to the cast/characters cant be beat. But for a dinner reservation make sure you dont overlap with the evening lights or firework shows.

Room Tip: The premium rooms are closer to the food & pool but may be close to noise & lights too...

The moderate priced Disney hotels are not fancy. However, my husband and I were just sleeping and showering there, and it was adequate. There was not a ton of room, bathroom was very small, but it worked. It was reasonably clean. The resort is very spread out, though, so there is a lot of walking and you have to take a shuttle from where you check in to many of the buildings if you don't want a long walk. The food at the food court was nothing great, very expensive, but ok.

It is a convenient location, though, as it is close to Epcot and Hollywood Studios and buses will take you to all the parks and Downtown Disney on a frequent schedule.

If you want a moderately priced place, this is fine. Can't beat being on Disney property. If you want to go all out, stay out at the Yacht Club.

What can you say, I stayed for 4 nights with all my kids and grandkids. The rooms were large, clean and the staff couldn't do enough for you. We stayed in Jamaica area which was nice had a connection for Disney transportation right in front, and was only a short walk to the restaurant located on the property and the main pool.

I would rebook this room again especially since it was centrally located for going to the different resort. My brother stayed at Animal Kingdom same time but had a longer trip to get to and from Parks. Yes the Animal Kingdom is nice too but if you’re looking to save a few bucks I recommend the Caribbean Beach Resort

I expected more of this hotel, last time I stayed at the all star movies (it was a lot better). For a moderate resort I think its overpriced, the resort is huge, we stayed at the pirates theme room (they are on Trinidad south; which is the farthest from the main pool or food court it's about half a mile walk) the rooms are nice but small, they offer a very nice atmosphere for kids. The main pool is small for a resort this size. Food court is OK. Would not stay here again. If your room is near a bus stop you won't get any sleep, I had to switch rooms after the first night, the last bus arrives around 2:30 and the first before 7:00, every time a bus arrives they make a very loud beeping sound that could be heard from the room.

This hotel was very dissapointing. The rooms are very small and very warn. It was just like being at the Parks at the restaraunts not worth staying at complete maddness! For the price it should be a value resort! Not impressed with properties they are a nightmare! The rooms were filthy we had two!!! Two beds the sheets were not changed and there was food and crumbs in a rollaway!
The bus service to the parks is also a nightmare if you have children with you! They pack you in like sardenes and there is no seatbelts for the children! My children are 5 and 6 and had to stand up for a 30 minute ride back to the resort!!! There is also not enough busses to accomidate all the people!!! Never staying on property again!!!

We chose Caribbean Beach for the amenities, but would probably choose another hotel if we traveled to Disney World again. We had a preferred room in Trinidad North, but Aruba is just as close for less money. Trinidad North is still a five minute walk to the pool. The best things about the resort are the grounds and the main pool. We were disappointed that the water slides were not open in the early morning or at night, but rather the same time all of the parks are open. The room decor is also nice, but the rooms are small, however the same size as all moderates at Disney. Our room was pretty dusty in the corners and on the furniture. The food at this resort is not that good, plan on eating all of your meals elsewhere for better value. The transportation from Caribbean Beach is not fast to any resort or Downtown Disney. Also, the beds are small. All that being said, we spent no time at the resort, really and it was nice to have transport.
