This was our 4th stay at CBR and by far the worst one. Our previous times here were quiet and relaxing, but this time was not. Turns out Pop Warner was booked into the resort because of a rehab at another resort, and basically took the resort over. Pool was crowded, hot tub had 20-30 kids in it nightly, and towels and garbage left at quiet pools. Kids yelling back and forth outside rooms late at night, or standing in path ways refusing to move. Not the layed back resort we came to enjoy. The other 3 times we stayed at this resort we loved it, but if Pop Warner rebooks there in 2013, we will NOT be back.

We stayed 6 nights at this resort. As an avid Disney fan, I have been to WDW several times but this was my first stay at Caribbean Beach. The external property is beautiful but the rooms were terrible. Disney is known for great Customer Service & a great overall experience but this hotel was truly sub-par for Disney standards.

Our room was dirty from the beginning of the stay. We were skipped by housekeeping on more than one day. There were cob webs from one end of the room to the other. The overall decor and functionality of the room was decent but I was super disappointed with the cleanliness & house keeping.

The rooms had new televisions and a newer Finding Nemo theme. They do have a decent size fridge in the room.

The staff was friendly and helpful when we made special requests.

The grounds are very pretty. There are beaches in each "village" and they were clean & normally empty. My children enjoyed playing in the sand and the hammocks.

There are bus stops at each village but your building may or may not be close to the bus stops. We have a 2 year old in a stroller and it could be a long walk if we didn't want to take the stroller. Also, it takes a while to get anywhere on the bus because you stop at ALL of the bus stops.

The main theme pool was really nice but the other pools that are in each village are all one depth which is not good if you have little ones. They were normally empty which is nice if you want some privacy or quiet time.

Most of the buildings are very far from the main food court, gift shop and pool. For those who are handicapped or have small children this may not be the best resort for you. If you are healthy and don't mind walking, it's a nice stroll.

Room Tip: If you want less walking, ask for a room in a building near Old Port Royale which is where the good...

Was a guest at this property as part of a school trip/performance for high school students. Caribbean beach is in need of a makeover - rooms are dated and ventilation system is noisy and inefficient. Did not like that guest room was very far away from any amenities, and that main lobby was a bus ride away, as well as dining. Staff was pleasant and efficient, and i recognize that this is a value resort, but it was very disappointing after staying in the past at other properties such as the Wilderness Lodge and the Contemporary Hotel Would not return.

I'm writing this review from my bed at the "resort" during a break while we recover from the day's activities. This is the first time that we've stayed within the park and it is convenient. However, I'm disappointed with the room - its old, feels grungy, needs new carpets, has poor ventilation and smells like dirty feet from time to time (not my feet). I should've tried to change rooms after the first night but thought that it was me. The room feels like an old hotel room at best - like one of those old musty rooms in along a beach. Two of us (of four) are complaining of headcolds now ... I can't say if its the room or just a coincidence that we're suddenly sharing colds.

The outside areas are clean and the cafeteria is ok - food is good, but becomes tiring rather quickly.

i don't know how this place be called a resort though - there are pools, the restaurant and boat rentals for a really small pond. But there are far fewer activities than at a real resort. We just walked by marshmallow roasting along the fake beach but I wish we had learned about it earlier - I haven't seen any published daily list of activities or any daily itineraries.

I do like staying in the park - the shuttle buses are great - we've had very few waits and only one crowded bus (this morning with the other late morning people).

Hopefully we can move up to the deluxe level if we decide to stay within the park on our next trip.

Room Tip: Try a deluxe resort instead.

We had a very nice family stay here. The room was very well decorated and comfortable.
The wireless service cost extra which I was not used to, so didn't bother to use it.
It is a pleasant however quite lengthy walk to the restaurant/pool.
The bus service was very good to all Disney sites.
There is no elevator so must carry baggage up to second floor.
Parking is in front for convenience.

nice hotel. asked for tea packets and hot cocoa packets that we never got we don't drink coffee. Quite a walk to the big pool from the aruba section. especially after walking all day at the parks. Didn't like staying on the second floor no elevators. Beds were okay. Last time stayed at pop century. got a little animal every day. Just on our first day here.

Room Tip: ask for a ground floor room
