We had a 3 bdrm condo in building 2. I guess this is one of the older buildings. The rooms could have used some updating but they we OK for the price. The building was pretty quiet. The resort pool and bar was great. The property over all as pretty clean. Easy access to Disney. I would stay hear again.

My husband and I and a couple of friends just returned from a five day stay at this hotel. The rooms were fine although the balcony was tiny and had lots of peeling paint on the roof along with a host of very large spider webs and one giant spider. The lobby has a very disconnected feeling as most of it is open to a landing two floors below. The rest of the lobby area has had the ceiling lowered to such a ridiculously low height that you have a very claustrophobic feeling when going to your elevator. This hotel is quite old and it is most apparent throughout the pool and tennis areas. We tried to play tennis, but the court is so badly cracked and not cleaned regularly that to play amidst debris (leaves etc) is dangerous. The pools and the surfaces around them do need to be redone. They are very old and yellowed, which is not at all inviting although many families were enjoying the water. The pool towels are paper thin, very rough and the size of hand towels, so if you do want to go and swim ask for at least two or three each. We stay in Orlando every two to three months and this is a hotel that we won't bother returning to although its location to Downtown Disney is good. I can't comment on the bus shuttle as we drove ourselves to the parks. I would recommend that you go elsewhere for coffee in the morning as $4 is the cost for a very poor quality coffee.

Upon arrival, the light switch nearest to the door did not turn on any lights. There was a used paper towel in the sink along with an unswept bathroom floor. The room had a musty smell and was always humid. We even left for a few hours, turning the air on around 68 to cool it down and get some of the humidity out and when we returned it was still hot and humid. The shower had virtually no pressure and the shampoo and conditioner bottles were already opened, not sure if they had been used, but the seal was broken. Our balcony did not have a table like the other rooms. The crack between the glass and the balcony was dirty and had broken glass in it. The balcony floor also looked like it had not been swept or cared for in weeks/months. Thankfully we only used the room to sleep in and didn't spend much time in it other wise.

The shuttles to the Disney parks were very convenient and always on time. The drivers were awesome and were very knowledgeable when asked questions about the surrounding areas. Didn't really have any interaction with the hotel staff.

My husband and I along with our two year old recently stayed at this hotel. It was our first time staying here and all i can say is wow. The first day we were here, we ate at the restaurant inside the hotel. The food was fresh and the service was excellent! Everyone that worked at this hotel was very very friendly and answered all questions we had. They also had their own transportation to the parks. The rooms were neat and clean and the bed was very comfortable. Every room comes with a nice size patio and awesome views. The pools were nice and had waterfalls and a Jacuzzi. Overall, this was a great hotel on Disney property that didnt burn a hole in my pocket. We were also walking distance from downtown Disney. I want to come back and bring my mother and my sisters to this hotel for our next trip to Disney!

Room Tip: Try to get a room away from the elevator and ice machine.

This hotel is very nice and is in a pretty good location. Was there on business but we went early to have some fun at WDW beforehand. The only trouble we had was they tried to put the wife and me in a double queen room when we had asked for a king room. It took a few minutes but thay corrected it so no problem. The room was nice and we had a view of the Magic Kingdom from afar and could see Epcot from the tower we were in. The character breakfast was fun, if you bring kids, you should go to it. The Disney buses pick up at this hotel and you can walk to downtown Disney which is just across the street! The place is clean and has a nice pool. The Outback restaurant is nice but it is not the same as the chain restaurants across the country.

Room Tip: Get a high floor on the northwest side and you can see some of the fireworks at the parks

I stayed at this hotel for a business conference but their forte, of course, is tourism. The meeting facilities were more than adequate, and fortunately the conference center was situated well away from the busy lobby and restaurant areas. This is a Disney hotel so most of the guests were families and vacationers. Check in was smooth and courteous and they let me check in early because the room was ready. The room was lovely and looked recently renovated. I noticed immediately that there were unruly, screaming children in the adjoining room. This lasted all afternoon while I was on conference calls and preparing reports. I called the front desk and asked to change rooms and they instantly agreed. A supervisor met me by the elevators with the keys to my new room and the process was very easy and much appreciated. All rooms have a safe and mini-refrigerator and a great balcony with chairs and a table. There is also a self serve laundry facility and a store with drinks, beer and wine and snacks. This is located on the first floor which is easily accessible, just off the elevators. All in all it was a great place to stay, especially for families visiting the Disney parks The hotel has free shuttles to the various parks and parking is included in the "resort fee" .

We have just arrived back from our two week stay at this hotel. The rooms are large and accommodate a family of five with space to move around which is a rare treat. The room was overlooking the pool on the 6th floor of the island building which we liked as it had a more intimate feel than the main building and we could watch the disney fireworks from our balcony. I have to say Scott who worked in the pool bar was lovely and even created a cocktail that tasted like cider which was amazing. We ate in Kooks and Avu Avu and enjoyed both meals they are very accommodating when it comes to allergies and provided me with delicious gluten free meals. Transport to Disney parks was provided by the hotel and was very reliable also this hotel is across the road from downtown Disney and the transport hub to all Disney hotels which often meant you could get back quicker at night. ( after fireworks in magic kingdom we walked to contemporary hotel and caught downtown bus, avoiding all the use for monorail). Could not recommend this hotel more.
