I stayed here fifteen years ago and was interested to see what it would be like on my return. I was extremely pleased with the recently renovated interior of the hotel and the room we stayed in was spacious and beautifully presented.

We upgraded to a fireworks room view which was definately worth the money as each evening we were able to sit on the balcony with a glass of wine and enjoy the fireworks from epcot and the magic kingdom which was very relaxing after a long day in the parks.

The hotel is also opposite downtown disney so we were spoilt for choice for dinner and dancing options without having to worry about transportation.

The pool area itself however looked tired and in need of refurbishment and looked exactly the same as it did 15 years ago and the food in the hotel restaurant was average but overall this is a lovely hotel and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.

Room Tip: Get a room with a view of the nightly fireworks

Stayed here for a conference. The rooms are big and nicely furnished. Bed comfy. Bathroom nice with a great shower. But the walls were paper thin. I could hear my neighbor blowing his nose and also a lot of hall noise. Several in our group got locked out of our rooms one night, including me. The check in staff could get backed up at times - they did their best with the staffing they had.

The food is not great. The conference food was some of the worst we've had in years. And the buffet breakfast in the restaurant is overprice and underwhelming.

There is a large swimming pool complex which looked fun for kids. Renting floation devices (or buying them) looked pretty pricey so you may want to plan to bring your own.

Hotel is great value for the money. Cannot beat the location - right across the street from Downtown Disney. Rooms were a bit dated but loved the fact that you could buy your own food and take it downstairs and heat it in their toasters and mini ovens.

Arrived to find the hotel quite a dated looking building - check in was fine, the valet parking guys were very nice at all times. Unfortunately, althougth the room looked like the photo online, in reality it had worn carpet, thin sheets, and a bad smell. There was a cigarette butt left on the terrace all week (that we didnt leave there as we don't smoke, the room cleaner left dirty gloves on one of the bedside tables, one of the beds was really saggy, the door lock didn't work properly, glass on terrace and door filthy and phones in room didn't work. I did try to get them to fix the phones, but they didn't. Ant problem in room meant some candy the kids left on the desk in the room was covered in ants when we returned that afternoon. Outback restaurant was nice and food was good, although it was closed on a Monday night, and there was not other family friendly food options available at the hotel, which is surprising given its size. The shower had great water pressure, which is a rare thing in hotels, so I loved that. Overall, I would say there are plenty of other nicer hotels in the Disney area that are newer and provide a better overall experience for the money.

Went there for a business conference. The hotel does need some updating. It certainly is not as nice as the other Disney properties. However, the staff is really nice and the location is perfect. You can walk to Downtown Disney and there is a shuttle to the other parks. The grounds are well kept. The food in the Outback was very good and the staff was EXCELLENT!

Room Tip: Go during off peak times.

We recently stayed at this resort for a Disney Weekend and found the hotel to be perfect. Directly across the street from Downtown Disney we where able to easily walk from the hotel to get dinner on our first night. Our room was comfortable and clean with a view of Epcot. The shuttle was on time and dropped us of directly in front of the park of our choice. We also had no trouble getting our shuttle back late that evening after the parks closed. We also enjoyed a meal at the hotel's Outback restaurant, and the Disney character breakfast buffet. We do not have children but enjoyed watching all the other children interact with Minnie, Goofy, and Pluto during our meal. The great advantage to this hotel verses some of the Disney hotels is the close location to all the Disney activities without the overdose of Disney inside the hotel. This is a great hotels for couples who want to do some of the Disney activities without having the entire hotel be full of families with children.
