I was very please with the service by INGRID, the person in charge of the omelette station, she was very friendly and it looks like she loves her job, she makes the wait while the food is ready very short with her positive attitude. THANK YOU INGRID YOU A GREAT EMPLOYEE.

I would come her again for sure. The rooms were comfy and secure. Clean rooms are a must and this hotel had a really clean feeling and I would come here again. The food is great but little pricy but worth it for the experience.

Stayed here for 10 nights overall was an ok stay. Hotel is well kept especially the grounds and pools.

The room was nice enough, nice big comfy beds and a great air con! Always had a lot of towels and extra pillows etc which was great ! Never had an issue with noise even though we were close to the pool.Location of the hotel is good as the I-ride bus stop is literally outside and only costs $2 to get about don’t use the hotel taxi as it is very expensive use the Iride. The pools are always kept really clean and the towel man is always working extremely hard to keep fresh towels!

Only issue I have is the food and drinks served at the hotel. The food served at the luguna is nice but crazy expensive working out to be £42 for two people to have a buffet breakfast which we thought was just way to much for a hotel breakfast. Drinks and the bar staff were the main disappointment of this holiday, unfortunately the bar staff are dishonest with pricing one round of drinks could cost you $7 next round for the exact same drinks could cost you $18, they just make the price up on the spot which was recognised by several others staying at the resort. $16 for a disarano and coke is just not worth it, they don’t measure the alcohol either which means sometimes you get a drink which is way to strong to drink or hardly alcoholic! If your looking to drink by the pool daily I wouldn’t recommend this hotel.

All in all a nice holiday but be warned you need a lot of money to enjoy drinks by the pool on a daily basis and there is no entertainment at this hotel. Could be a lot better for the piece

Stayed in another Sea World hotel two months prior which was slightly higher in price, but drastically better in many categories. Here, room smelled, shower didn't work, room service never showed up (and they blamed it on me), restaurant was empty and a turkey club took 40 minutes to arrive, wifi didn't work in room had to go outside, would never stay here paying with personal funds, this was a preferred hotel for business.

What is the one necessary item needed on a convention trip for schedules, business and contacts? A TELEPHONE! What should you have if you are 71, on the second floor and have a heart condition? A TELEPHONE. What did my room not HAVE? A TELEPHONE! Four calls to the front desk, three visits to them room and still, no telephone. The maintenance engineer said he would tell the front desk that I needed another room. The front desk said I didn't need it. And still no phone. But Double Tree had the audacity to charge an extra $200 to prepaid room for "resort charges" the minute I checked in. I should charge them for the inconvenience and costs incurred for using my cell to call rooms and services I cannot access.....because I have NO PHONE in my room. Beware when dealing with corporations who hide poor service behind silly offers of chocolate chip cookies.
