We stayed in the Quality inn plaza 2 times on each occasion we have had a good time there the staff have been friendly any problems we did have was sorted out in no time. we didnt really rate the restaurant there we had an evening meal which wasnt too good but lots of nice eating places just outside like pizza hut sizzlers and places like dennys, perkins, friendlys, just a short distance away and its nice to get out and eat somewhere different everynight. we have been to florida 3 times now and have the best holidays ever i would advise anyone to stay here it is such an ideal location

We stayed at the Quality inn plaza in November and although the hotel is quite basic and you get what you pay for in the standards, i could not fault the location of the hotel. It is really central to everything and if you haven't hired a car its really a good central base to start from. The interior of the hotel is looking a bit tired but for the amount of time that we actually spent in our room it was all we needed. i would stay here again but i think its the location of the hotel that makes it a good choice rather than the rooms. Also try not to get a room on the far side of the accomodation as the road is road is really noisy all through the night.

We had reservations for 6 nights, starting on 12/25 (Merry Christmas), not at this hotel. We checked in and were given the key cards. Went to the room, keys didn't work. Had to return to check-in. Issued new keys, returned to room. Between the very uncomfortable beds and the noise from the helicopters near-by and the traffic on I-4, we didn't get any sleep. Even our son who managed to sleep, woke up with a backache. Needless to say we checked out , cancelling the next 5 nights of our anticipated stay.

When we arrived at the hotel from the airport, the lobby appeared to be nice. We received our key, but didn't receive any help with our luggage, or was even offered. We arrived at our room, it was still dirty from the previous occupants. We asked for a new room, but they wouldnt make the arrangements to keep us close to our group, so we had to wait outside while they cleaned the room, and it was like around 4 o'clock when we arrived here and the room still wasn't cleaned.

The staff are very somber and complacent when serving guests. It is clearly apparent by their body language they are not happy with their job as customer service employees. When you need assistance and ask for help, you can tell you are clearly bothering them and they don't go out of their way to assist but to send you away by referring you to someone else.

At the tickets counter, they allow vultures to linger around to rack in prey for outrages prices on tickets and to sell other hotel resorts for timeshares and what ever ? Actually these are the only people that are nice, and their not even the employees, they are the money suckers and scam artists from the five star ' Sheraton Hotel'. ( don't ever get sucked in to that, they may give u good deals on tickets for your supposedly 1.5 hour tour of their hotel and free breakfast, but when u get there, they will try and keep u all day trying to con you into buying timeshare, and when u say no, they will keep sending other people to convince you, and when u still try to no, they will become rude and arrogant).

Everything is outrages, water, beverages, cigarettes......they really take advantage of the tourist trap. Even car rentals.

The care takers don't exactly don't clean the rooms well.

The only positive thing i can say is the location is good, and the breakfast buffet is decent for the price that u pay.

I stayed here with my family on dec 26, 2007. After reading the horrible reviews and finding out that this was one of the few places with availablity the day after christmas, i gave it a chance. when we drove up the hotel, it looks quite nice from the outside.. a very large hotel , with maybe over 1,000 rooms. they gave us building B room 11##.. when we opened the door, the first thing we all noticed, was the badly stained chair. it could of been blood, not sure, and i do not want to know. the carpet was loaded with dog hair, ...yes.. dog hair, evidently pets are allowed at this establishment! they should have a seperate building for people with pets.. the bathroom... oh my god, mold everywhere!!! i am not joking this is a health concern. we pulled back the covers and there were long strands of blond hair, on the bed.. numerous calls to the front office all night, with hopes that management would call me back to at least change our room, no response... i made a fuss the next morning at check out,,, and the room was giving to us for free!!! they all should be free, considering the condition... one mess... never again!!!!

we have just returned from our 1 week trip to orlando. Our hotel stay was extremely comfortable. It is perhaps the only hotel that as a part of standard room, has a microwave and refrigerator. The rooms were pretty clean all the time. The hotel is very centrally located on i-drive. Buses to theme parks are available right from the door. If you are only planning to crash for the night after a tiring day at theme parks, this is the hotel for you.

We really enjoyed our stay from 12/20 - 12/24 - 2007. The place was very clean including our room. The pool was heated just as advertised. The real deal was the shuttle to and from the Universal Parks. The shuttles left at 8:20 am and 10:20 am and offered 4 return times from 3:50 pm through 7:55 pm. These buses were luxory tour buses and really save you money...it is $11 to park at Universal. I have been to two Disney Resorts and this hotel was comparable to the Caribbean and the Pop Century resorts. The only thing I wish we had at this hotel was a hot tub to soak our feet from the long days of walking. I will definitely stay here again and again. You are just minutes from Prime Outlet where you can visit tons of outlet stores. You can also go across the street to Pointe Orlando and shop.
