“Great stay!”
Reviewed October 13, 2011

Stayed at Bay Hill for one night while visiting the Orlando area in September. Arrived super early at 8:00am and was able to check in right away.

The loby is very elegantly decorated and inviting. Staff extremely helpful.

Our room was very nice. Spacious and very clean. Bathroom was quite large and bright. Opened our curtains to an amazing view of the practice green, driving range, and one of the holes.

We ate at one of the restaurants there (sorry I forget the name). It was a later meal, so not many people around. Food was delicious!! Huge servings for what you pay. We had nachos, wings, and "their" fries!

The grounds are beautiful. We walked around, so peaceful and quiet. Golfed the next morning and had an enjoyable round.

It was a great experience to stay here and would recommend it to any avid golfers!!

Have been at least seven times to Bay Hill and it is quite simply the best "stay and play" golf venue in Orlando. From the tastefully appointed rooms (I was once given the late Mrs. Winnie Palmer's suite) to the superb grillroom everything at Bay Hill is understated and classy! The only overstated element is the amount of portraiture of ARNIE on the walls! The American breakfast is outstanding as are all the entrees in the restaurant. The inclusion of a high Service charge on food and beverage tabs is a minor irritant. Then there is the golf course...which is the main reason to live at Bay Hill...its simply my all-time Orlando favourite!

Bay Hill Lodge and Country Club was a big disappointment. This year they are celebrating their 50th anniversary and the facility shows the wear and tear. The room we stayed in did have a bathroom that had been redone but the room itself was very second rate. The bedding was beyond bad and the pillows like large hay bails. Old 25 inch TV with bad reception but we did have a view of the 9th green from our window. The staff was wonderful however food was great and the golf course pleasant to play, nothing outstanding typical resort greens. A middle of the road Resort.

The staff at Bay Hill are very warm and friendly. My family and I (BF and 2 teenage sons) stayed 4 days/3 nights in one of the guest houses and were absolutely blown away with it. The fully equipped kitchen was to die for with granite countertops, stainless steel appliances and every utensil you thought you would need. It was like a home away from home. The lake in the back of the house, sand on the shoreline, screened wrap-around porch, well manicured lawn, hardwood floors, housekeeping...I literally could go on and on...Wonderful stay...Fun times!!

We stayed one night at Bay Hill so we could play the golf course. The golf course is beyond fantastic and when we played we were at times the only people I could see.
The lodge and clubhouse is pure 70's high end golf. Walking through the place is like a time capsule. We stayed in one of the villas which is actually a small two bedroom house that has been refurbished. It still smelled a bit like Grandma's but was very nicely done and very comfortable. I would definitely recommend it for a night or two and would highly recommend the course.

From arrival to departure, every last member of staff displayed both a welcoming and helpful attitude. Rooms were clean and comfortable, food was outstanding, and golf course was immaculately groomed. Prices may not be the lowest you might find but Arnold does deliver value and absolute enjoyment. Took my wife there for a birthday celebration and she made me promise to do it again next year.

Room Tip: Ask for a room overlooking the golf course.
