“Another Excellent Stay”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 18, 2013

We just returned from a quick one night stay at Disneys' All Star Sports Resort. We came up to go to the Spring Training game for the Mets VS. Braves, and we are both Mets fans, so decided to go up and make a quick one night trip! Any excuse to go to Disney and stay is perfect for me!
The Positives were..
* Great Bus service, never had to wait longer than 10 minutes
* Great food and food choices
* Excellent decor, color and totally feels Disney like!
* Easy parking and check in process
* Great price
* Awesome pool area
* FUN Theme especially for children!!
* Very clean resort and Staff always going out of their way to assist you with anything!

The only negatives I found with this resort were..
* Bed spreads were very worn out, had holes in them and stains on them.
* Walls were very thin, as is every value resort and I can hear everything going on in the room next door.
* Hard to fall asleep for me cause I am a light sleeper, our room was in the Football section right near the main road where we heard the buses,cars and people talking very loudly.
* The resort was suppose to text me when our room was ready but they never did and it was almost 4:00..that was kind of weird, since that always works!! excellenty

The check in process was super quick, I did the online check in and was in and out in 5 minutes. All in all this resort is a value resort, so don't expect it to be like the Contemporary resort with amazing amenities..It works for the money and is clean and still Disney!

Room Tip: 3rd Level room, away from the busy road!

Awesome Hotel, the themeing is brilliant, the staff are very helpful and the transport to the parks is very good. The restaurant offers excellent food for the price as well. The quality of the hotel for the price you pay is way above what you would expect. I would definitely stay here again

My fiancee and I stayed here in September 2012. The resort is gorgeous and comfortable, and offers great value! I would recommend this resort to ANYONE and would gladly stay there again. We didn't spend much time at the resort itself because we were at the water parks and the themes parks so much... but if we had more time to spend there, a day at the awesome large pool would have been great.

If you want to stay at a Disney owned resort and are on a tight budget, this is as cheap as it gets. The pluses - free transportation, magic hours at the parks, qualifies for the free dining plans (when offered), clean rooms with comfortable beds, free frig in room, professional & helpful staff, food court and gift shop, free wi-fi, and heated pools. We arrived at the resort before 11am and immediately got our room. Now the not so goods. The rooms are very small. Since my teen girls are used to having their own double bed, we took an air mattress with us. There is no in-room coffee maker and you have to go to the food court for your brew. You want to get a room as close to the food court as possible, because you will get plenty of walking in the parks and you don't need to put in a mile just getting coffee. And while the buses are free, the rides are long (50 min. To downtown Disney). We spent a lot of time on those buses- too much time. Next time, I'll pay more $$ and stay closer to the parks.

My boyfriend and I stayed here in Jan/Feb this year. It was fab from start to finish. The room was great deffinately big enough for 2 adults. Room cleaned every day, Food hall great. We did have a car but we also used the Disney transport as it was soooo easy. Espeially when visiting the Magic Kingdom, the bus takes you right outside the enterance instead of you having to park up get the tram and then get the Monorail. It was also good when visiting Downtown Disney on a night beause the car parks were so busy you never had to spend ages trying to find a space. All in all the All Star Sports was brilliant I would deffo recomend to anyone and cant wait to stay there again :-)

We stayed at the the All Star Sports recently and were very disappointed. For many years, we have been visiting Disney Parks and have stayed in Disney resort hotels. We always had wonderful experiences until our stay at the All Star Sports. The rooms at this hotel were unclean. There were fruit loops on the floor and hairs on the bathtub. We were afraid to step on the floors or into the tub without our shoes or flipflops.

Also, the service at the food court was very slow and inadequate for the number of guest. For example, in the morning it took 20 minutes to get waffles. There was only one person working at our station. We told the girl behind the counter that we were pressed for time and she seemed annoyed with us. Also, the salad station at dinner was extremely slow. It took nearly another 20 minutes to get a salad.

In short, the service at the All Star Sport was far below what we expected to receive at a Disney resort. Yes, this hotel is among the "cheapest" but for what we paid, we could have gotten a lot better at a Hampton Inn.

Loud and crowded! Outside entrance to rooms. Can hear anyone that walks by. Only positive is the free transportation to parks. Buses get crowded so may have to wait a bit. Not much disney decor inside rooms. Front desk was supposed to take luggage back to room and it took forever!
