Pros: room (king suite) very clean and very spacious with flat screen TV and a lot of channels( way more than what you'd usually get at a hotel); the hotel itself was clean; very nice front desk staff- they went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and happy, they were very helpful in helping us figure things out around the hotel (as in how to use the guest laundry facilities and such); housekeeping always prompt and always left the room spotless; the pool had a decent size; both the internet and the phone worked; breakfast was good; the hotel is located within a walking distance from a shopping plaza that also contains a few restaurants, but if you want a good, cheap meal, hop in the car and drive a bit, it's worth it (Cafe Tu Tu Tango is a very good option). We cannot say anything about the elevator or the upper floors, as our room was located on the main (lobby/entrance) level, it was however very quiet. What we found to be very well thought out and efficient was the fact that the sink was separate from the shower and the rest of the items you'd usually find in a traditional bathroom.

Cons: -the pool, despite the fact that it was placed directly in sunlight, was quite cold and unheated; be aware that there is construction going on right across the street and it will get somewhat noisy in the pool area in the morning

Neither pro nor con:
-breakfast: consisted mostly of yogurt and milk; 3 types of muffins, 3 types of Danishes; biscuits; different types of juices, cereals, oatmeal (that came accompanied by hot water), fruits, and coffee (so there was quite a choice); however the hot item got to be quite repetitive (eggs prepared in different ways and ham) and decided to skip those in favor of the hot waffle and cinnamon sticks that were offered on 2 days

Stayed at the Hampton Inn on our way back from Spring Training as we flew out of Orlando. The hotel is new and clean. It was not very busy so they upgraded us to a suite (which was an oversize King room with a sofa). The vanity is outside of the bathroom which was nice. The hotel is about 15 minutes from Disney World and about 10 minutes from the outlet mall. They had free internet service as well. We ate at a great restaurant , the Capital Grille, which was about 5 minutes ago. Would stay again!

The Hampton Inn on Futures is a good choice if you need to stay closer to the South of Orlando. The hotel is a newer four story property that is located off John Young Parkway and very close to a lot of new dining/shopping. I got in late but I did see a Denny's Diner and a Walmart as well as a lot of smaller newer strip malls.

Check-in/Lobby
Check-in went smoothly and room requests were met. Staff was friendly and they were having a pizza reception when I arrived. I had just eaten dinner so I didn't eat any, but was a nice touch. Just wish they would have had some cookies (really what I was craving), you can't look gift food in the mouth :) The lobby was large and had a lot of tables and chairs.

Room
The room had two queen beds and was on the smaller side for a Hampton Inn. Maybe because I usually get a King Executive and this was just plain two doubles (all they had)? As you walked in there was a nice new closet with a icy glass type door with ample hangers, a very clean iron and ironing board. There was a larger than average mini-fridge and a microwave. The room had a desk and chair for business travelers with wired free high speed that worked perfectly. There was also another odd chair kind of tucked into the work station.

The HVAC unit was thermostat, which I know sounds stupid, but I don't really like as I enjoy having a constant background noise (fan) when I'm sleeping. Temperature regulation was fine. The beds were extrememly comfortable, firm, just like I like them with both poly and feather pillows. The TV was a nice newer HD or Plasma with ample cable channels and closed caption. I did open the drawer on the nightstand and found a bag with empty candy wrappers. A little concerning, but that was really my only complaint. Room was very quiet, I didn't hear much noise from other rooms, a little noise above me, but nothing to complain about.

The bathroom was very nice and had a large top on the vanity. They provide a decent size shampoo, conditioner and lotion. Water pressure was fine and shower was okay, however the bar stuck out a lot so watch your elbows!

Other
The hotel had a very small fitness center with two treadmills and an elliptical, however the machines, like everything else in the hotel was brand new and they had the TV option, so you just plug into the jack and can watch anything you want. Very nice. Business Center looked fine, had a printer as well. Water will cost you $2 in the machine, so you might want to bring your own, they also have a snack shop.

Overall
This new hotel is a great option if you are saying on the south end of town. I ended up here because all hotels near my office were booked. I probably won't stay again because it was a bit far out for me, but was a great stay.

Easy to locate off route 528 . Check in staff were friendly and very helpful . Room was spotless and well appointed with microwave , refrigerator and large flat-screen TV with a good station selection . Conveniently located near the airport and Orange Co Convention center in a safe area . I would highly recommend this location to anyone .
