This restaurant has some very nice touches. The maitre d' was superb, the wine glasses were examined for cleanliness by torchlight, the prices on the wine list did not take liberties, the bread was good and we were given a dish of crudities to nibble on while the food arrived. I thought the restaurant looked very stylish and there was a good atmosphere. The server was good. To be honest, though, the food was not outstanding. The crab I had as a first course lacked flavour and the sauce did not hit the spot. My friend had lobster bisque; he asked for a bowl but got a cup. My lobster tail was exactly as I expected for the price. My friend had salmon; while not bad, it certainly wasn't good. (I tried a forkful and found it overcooked and dry). If the food matched the decor it would be great, but given the price paid I can only rate this place as average.
