“Exceptional Golf Experience - Nice Resort Course”
Reviewed May 19, 2013

This was the 2nd time I've played this conveniently located resort course in Orlando right off Int'l Dr. The pro shop and staff are courteous, knowledgeable and friendly providing good insight to the course. Nice grass driving range with warm-up bucket included and decent practice putting green, but no chipping or sand trap practice area. The course is laid out nicely with 4 tees designed to fit any level of golfer and variety of holes that provide a good test of golf using most clubs in the bag. Carts are equipped with GPS and offer good graphics, distance and warnings to help golfer make informed decisions on every shot. I would play here again when in Orlando area.

“Grande Pines Golf”
Reviewed May 16, 2013

The people who worked at this club and the other players we encountered were all very nice and quite helpful. No snottiness you may expect from a larger club. There are about a million bunkers and I think I hit every one of them. But we had a lot of fun.

“Very nice course, great service”
Reviewed April 3, 2013

Our group of 8 played here on our final day of our golf getaway. The couse was right off of International Blvd so it was close to where we were staying as well as on the way to the airport for an easy exit. The only negative was the weather which of course was beyond their control. The temp at our tee time was 38 degrees, sheez, we left Pennsylvania for this..
The starter suggested we play the gold tees due to most of the group being above ten hdcp weekend golfers. We all agreed that these tees may have been suggested to allow for shooting a low score to make us want to return.
The course was in great shape and the gps on the carts was extremely helpful. As some others have stated the course incorporates many elevated greens. If you come up just short or go just over you will run quite aways off. The course however was closely mowed all around the greens so you could actually putt your way on if you chose (I did, as my short game, long game and approach game all suck) If you play from the tips this would be a VERY challenging test.

Service was very good. We were waiting on every hole until a ranger came along and promised to kick start the group ahead of us. This was on the tee of hole 8. Once we made the turn we never waited again so either they got the message or quit after nine holes. We played the course in 4:15 so the pace was good.
I am not sure of the rates for play as we booked through GolfZoo for our three rounds. I would highly reccommend their services especially our specialist Mark Sutherland

“Great Course.”
Reviewed March 25, 2013

Felt like I was at a Country Club with the pull up service, loading the clubs on the cart for me and cart, and range balls included in the green fee. Course was maintained nicely and bathroom was nice and clean.

“Great Course to play near Orlando Attractions”
Reviewed March 17, 2013

The course is close to all if the Orlando attractions which makes it very easy to get to if your staying nearby.

The course was in excellent shape. It has four sets of tees. The starter recommended the black tees for scratch golfers, <10 handicap for the green tees,> 10 for the gold tees and the whites for women, juniors, and seniors. We started playing the gold tees but moved back to the blues on about 2/3 the holes so that we would play different clubs on our approach shots. The golds were short, so you would hit driver and <9 iron on most par 4's. a few of us hit through the fairway on several holes. But this should not have happened if we paid more attention to the GPS unit on the carts which are excellent with a lot of info ( including the distance from the other carts).

The pace of play was excellent -- we finished in 4:20 with a starting time of 9:33.

There was not a lot of trouble off the tee and hardly any carries over water ( the first tee was one of the exceptions). But, the greens were really tough , as were the pin placements the day we played. Most of the greens look large but where you are on the green relative to the pin was huge. Many greens had large slopes and multiple tiers. I am not sure any of us had a flat putt all day. So, 3-puting was pretty common in our group. Also, the greens are protected with a lot of steep sided bunkers which were also really challenging. And, most greens were elevated up to create steep run-offs - so if you miss the green or don't hold the green don't expect to find the ball sitting just off the fringe. Normally they ran off 10 to 15 yards. The greens were very receptive and putted true -- just very hard to read. Fortunately the day we played there was almost no wind, but I can imagine this course would be tough in high winds.

The staff was excellent, the beverage cart very timely, and just a fun place to play.
