Complete false advertisement!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! DON'T STAY HERE! Stayed here while in town for a bowl game. The place is in the middle of the ghetto! There's boarded up buildings and hookers for miles! We witnessed multiple drug deals while driving around. We had hoped that since this was a "resort" that there would be local attractions within walking distance. There was nothing but abandoned, old buildings for miles and we were advised by a local police officer to NOT walk the streets because we may be confused for a hooker or drug dealer. There were TONS of homeless people. The hotel has barbed wire fence that the homeless people were climbing over to get on to the property while we were there. The room has no microwave nor fridge so we left for 2 hours after checking in and returned to being locked out of our room. We were accused of overstaying our reservation when we asked for the keys to be reissued. The rooms have NO AIR CONDITIONING. We tried to open a window, but they don't open. We propped the door open and had 6 men standing in our doorway gawking. We had to close the door and suffer in the heat and odor of the room. We opened the blinds to let light in and were treated like an exotic animal display as men lined up in front of the window to stare. Closing the blinds helped little as they wouldn't close all the way. The men would line up to peek in the slither of window that was uncovered by the blinds. We ended up taping the blinds to the window frame. The first room we were given had dirty foot prints on the bathroom tile still. We asked for and were given a new room. Both rooms had strong odors. No surfaces were without stains or cigarette burns. The bedspreads look like someone vomited a Hawaiian shirt on the bed. I wore white socks for one hour and my soles were black. Forget free Wi-Fi here! They charge $2 per hour for the internet. You also have to pay for ice IF the ice machines work. 2 ice machines were on the map for the resort, but one location had no machine and the other location had a broken machine. We had to break into the maid station to get ice. The maids were friendly though. If they have an event then you aren't able to access any of the amenities. We were charged admission to get to the pool, cafe, or lounge even though it was supposed to be included with our room. There's loud music nightly around the pool so if you are hoping to sleep, go elsewhere. Overall, the experience was terrible! I would NEVER recommend this location to ANYONE! Worst hotel I have EVER stayed at. Nothing "premier" or "resort"-like about it!!!!!!!!!
