My husband and I went to Chatham's for our anniversary. We ordered the special appetizer for the evening, which was a sampler plate that included quail eggs, baby shrimp, and a honeycomb cheese. The individual components were good, but I felt that the dish as a whole didn't go together. I ordered the filet to be cooked medium well, but it came out well done. It was still good, just wasn't exactly what I ordered. My husband ordered the special entree for the evening, which was a lobster roll, lamb, and ravioli. This took a long time to cook, and people who entered the restaurant after us got their dinner before we did. My husband enjoyed the dish, so it was worth the wait.
The service at Chatham's is always superb. The restaurant is small, but there is a large wait staff who anticipates your needs. We liked the fact that they wished us Happy Anniversary several times during our visit. We would definitely go back!
