“Nice leisure area”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 30, 2013

This is a very relaxing and picturesque area for a leisure park. If you imagine an out of town leisure park in the UK with Cinema, bowling, Amusement Arcades, this is sort the best version in the world I've seen of that and you don't have to pay to enter the area (you do have to pay for the attractions of course). It's set in a really nice area with a water feature in it and borders onto the Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure parks. You basically have to walk through Citywalk to get to these parks. Very cute marketing idea because they get the footfall of the Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure visitors walking through an area where people could spend even more money. The image of this Citywalk leisure area though is really amazing with a rather neat version of mini-golf as you walk across the footbridge from the car park. The cinemas, the eating places, amusement arcades etc. It actually makes queueing up at Universal Studios, getting into Universal Studios and walking around Universal Studios a bit of a let down. Basically they could have just opened up Universal Studios and made it into Citywalk and charged for individual rides in Universal Studios, because it was a bit of a let down paying such a large amount of money and having such a poor experience in Universal Studios. Even though the price for Universal Studios was a rip off, I would have rather paid it to get into the Citywalk area.

“Fun Times and good eating”

Many shops and restaurants catering to every ones likes. Citywalk is the entrance to both Universal's Islands of Adventure and Universal studios.

“one of the most exciting things in Orlando at night”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 25, 2013

Spend the night at the citywalk is surely a great option. The parking lot is free by night, at least when I came there, was free. They have all kinds of things to entertain all kinds of people. Shows, bars, pubs, clubs, restaurants, cinema, etc... I surely enjoyed going there. Everything there was exciting and interesting. The bad point: closes too early.. about 2am. But, don't miss that if you are in Orlando.

“So much to do”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 25, 2013

I would definitely visit this area over Disney... I like Disney but you have to go to various parks and spend a GREAT deal of money to get a full view of Disney! Universal City Walk is perfect.. It has Universal Studios, that has rides and more. It also have several restaurants out there such as the NBA city, Emeril Legassi among others and for those who enjoy music and clubbing, you will have fun as well AND they do the fireworks at 10p SHARP after the park closes... I LOVE IT!

“Not as good as Disney's”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 25, 2013 via mobile

Although fine, Universals city walk can't hold a candle to Disney's version. Mostly restaurants, this street offers little shopping and entertainment is on Saturdays only. If given the choice, I would hit Disney before Universal
