Hotel extremely clean with excellent room service. My grandson thoroughly enjoyed the pool, and I used the hot tub. What a treat after a day at Universal! Shuttle service was very nice also. Food was delicious from room service. Beds were comfortable. I would use this hotel again if I travel to Orlando.

This was by far the best hotel stay I've had in a long time. The entire staff was more then helpful and friendly. Room was clean comfortable def would recommend staying here. Cabs to universal are less then 10$ also have a free shuttle.

Hotel was clean and nice. Staff very accommodating. Colin from the tiki hut was amazing. He seriously made our night. Not only was he our night in shining armor when he jumped our car for us; but everything he did, he did with a smile. Plus, our drinks were delicious. Give the man a raise!

Good service from the staff and excellent facilities.
Near to the Orlando premium outlet, walking distance just need your key to access to it.
Big pool with entertainment and two jacuzzis.
Time share style but very good.
If I return to Orlando I will take again.

My husband and I stayed at this hotel last May and discovered that our room was infested with bedbugs. We had a double room (all that was available at the time), and my husband woke up covered with bedbug bites from head to toe. We showed the hotel management his bites, who at first said the hotel hadn't had a bedbug issue "in years." However, the hotel's pest control service confirmed the existence of bedbugs in our room.

At first, the hotel said they would reimburse us for our expenses and referred us to their insurance company, Liberty Mutual. Over three months later, guess what. Nothing. All we have gotten is the run around. No reimbursement for the room, medical bills, or the potentially infested luggage, shoes, and other items that we had to discard to keep from infesting our home. Our memories of this vacation will always be tainted with the memory of playing hosts to these disgusting parasites while we slept and having to pay dearly for it.

I'm posting this message because we trusted the good reviews on this site to make our decision to stay at this hotel. Had we known of the bedbug issue, much less how the situation would be handled afterwards, we certainly would have taken our business elsewhere. Here's to hoping we can save someone else the misery. I would like to echo the sentiments we expressed to your companion who provided feedback about your stay here on Trip Advisor back in June. I do sincerely apologize for this regrettable incident and realized how unsettling this all can be. I will stay engaged with the insurance company until this has been resolved.

We have addressed the problem on the property by taking the room and all surrrounding rooms out of order while they were treated and inspected by a certified exterminator. Bed bugs are increasingly becoming a problem in the hospitality industry. As you noted, there was no avanced warning on TripAdvisor of this issue and this is a testament to the fact that we pride ourselves in regular inspections and training of our staff. Occasionally, however, there are no signs despite the fact that the insects are present. More information can be found at: http://www.epa.gov/bedbugs.

All of us here at the hotel truly regret that this happened to you. We do care that all of our our guests have a good experience and want to apologize for this unpleasant experience.
