Day 1 of a 6 days conference. I pulled out of the self park lot and had the following conversation with the lot attending.
Attending: Are you stay at the hotel sir?
Me: No ma'am I am just here for the 6 days conference.
Attending: (completely changed her tone) $9
Me: I am sorry ma'am. Can you repeat that.
Attending: (holding out her hand) 9 dollar a day.
Me: Sorry I was not aware of that (hands her my credit card) One question, since I am here for the next 5 days from 9 to 5 and leaves during lunch...
Attending: ( cuts me off) $9 a day.
Me: I understand ma'am. I just want to know tomorrow when I leave for lunch how do I get back in and how ...
Attending: ( cuts me off again and hands me back my card and receipt) $9 a day.
Me: oh wait there is a receipt. Can I show the receipt to go in and out tomorrow?
Attending: (abrupt) yes
Me: thank you so much ma'am
Attending: yeah
Me: 🤔😡🤪🤬
Do yourself a favor and either stay at the resort if you are attending a conference there (because apparently attitude changes the moment they realize you don't) or pay for valet because my fellow docs who attend the same conference tell me they were treated with proper human courtesy and etiquette.

What can I say this was our fourth stay at this hotel and as always it did not disappoint, when staying at this hotel you would not believe you are only minutes away from all the major parks, as the hotel and grounds are so tranquil, the landscape just stunning. A massive thank-you to Beatriz Naranjo from the concierge lounge who has looked after us every stay, but this time went above and beyond, with our room allocation, surprise for our 30th anniversary and just her overall attitude on a daily basis, always there with a smile every morning. Monroe Street offers excellent light meals and Tobias is a must for one of the best burgers in town. I Definitely recommend this hotel, even when extremely busy with conference's the staff are still excellent and nothing is a problem for them to help. Stayed 13th - 20th October 2019

My family of 4 including pet toy poodle enjoyed our mini getaway at the Rosen resort . Pros -It’s a very spacious well kept property. Room was very spacious and clean . Staff very welcoming and tentative. Restaurant served very delicious food at a reasonable price . Location does provide shuttles to universal parks. Cons - Areas to wait for shuttle is also the smoking area and it’s not the best idea to have families with kids waiting to catch shuttle to amusement parks while ppl are smoking. I personally didn’t agree being I have a child with Asthma. Complimentary breakfast doesn’t really have a good variety of choices. If the option is included it should be offered in the main breakfast restaurant and not hidden. I also suggest more activities around the resort for kids & families to attend & a brochure should be given out during check-in of the different events going on within the resort that guest can attend. Overall, we enjoyed our stay & will definitely return.
