This location was picked by the organizer of our Friday Night Dinner Group; as one of his favorite places, and it did not disappoint!
There were nearly 30 of us and we doubled our usual Friday night outing with the retirement party of one of our gang.
We were to share the large, open, event space with another large group. There was plenty of space, with long tables on each side the room and they separated the two groups with several large sofas facing each dining area. It was big, cool and comfortable.
Servers welcomed our group, found out who went on which check and took drink orders. They were very friendly, refilled drinks quickly though out the night and kept plates cleared.
The Main Dining Room is open with high ceilings, touches of stone and glass - very contemporary, clean and bright.
The buffet was clean, well stocked and kept refreshed all night - I started with Pão de Queijo (Brazilian Cheese Bread) - there was a large basket of fresh warm bread, an assortment of cheeses and sliced meats and a large assortment of salads and toppings.
I tried a kale salad with cranberries and shaved Parmesan cheese - it was really light, fresh and not overly dressed. Also another diced salad with red peppers, corn, quinoa, cous cous, mango and another diced vegetable/ fruit that i couldn't identify - it was AWESOME and all of the flavors stood out.
All of the meats, sausages, vegetables, rice and beans were well made, flavorful, hot and fresh... steaks brought to the table were nicely cooked and hot.
Dessert are served in small cups and were lime mousse, passion fruit mousse, rice pudding and caramel.
Everything was really well done and we'll definitely be back!
