“Great Location, Great Value and Great Resort”
Reviewed March 8, 2011

We were in the Orlando area for vacation and stayed at the Regal Palms Resort in Davenport. We decided to extend and remembered LBV resort so we books our last 2 nights in Fla. there.
Check in was a breeze and they allowed us to check in early as the room was done. We had a room in building 2, which overlooks the Outlet Plaza. Buildings 4 and 5 are near the pirate pool. The view was ok but the room was beautiful. All amenities listed are actual and the beds were very comfy. The entire complex is very clean and well cared for.
The pool area was FANTASTIC. My 8 year old must have gone on the pirate ship slide 100 times. The bar personnel were very attentive and friendly as well and the pool area was well supervised and safe. There are 3 hot tubs near the pool and another at the pool near building 1 and 2. All clean and inviting.
The location was great as it was a 20 minute ride to Universal Studios and 5 minutes to Disney. They also offer shuttles as well which we didn't use. There is an on site restaurant that was great as well as a convenience store, massage spa and breakfast by the pool.
The check out was easy and fast. I would recommend this to anyone going to the Orlando area. We paid $139 a night for a 2 bedroom, 2 bath condo and after paying Disney lodging prices in the past this will be our destination.

Except for the overwhelming odor of bleach on our entry to our room everything was as expected. Very comfortable accommodations and easy access to Disney, Epcot and Universal.

This hotel could be a 5 out of 5 if it wasn´t for the lack of services. If you need anything or if you have problems with the internet you are by your own. But that is the only bad thing, all the rest is great, large rooms, spa, pools, right beside a good outlet shopping, close to Disney World. Perfect...

We loved it! We were in town in January and spotted this hidden treasure. complete with its own pirate ship in the pool. Decided to book the weekend of March 4th - 6th. I rented a 3 bedroom suite. (the st lucia) The first unit they gave me had quite a few problems and was unexceptable. They quickly put me in a second unit that was near perfect. As for comfort, it was very comfortable and very clean. the space was perfect having 3 teenagers with us and our oldest child stayed in the 2nd master bedroom with her husband and our 2 yr old grandson. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook a wonderful meal. (wish they had more roasting pans) and the utensils needed changing due to burned tips. however, the resort itself was great! I recommend this place to anyone with children or teenagers, nice game room, gym and frankies restaurant has great food!!!! I had the fish and chips the first night and she ordered the sampler. the kids ordered pizza from pizza hut they are located on site. I have already booked my next weekend for April. This resort is also very close to the attractions, Disney is 10 minutes away and downtown disney only 5 minutes away. shopping is also right next to the resort. this place had everything we needed. they also have a nice computer room in the main building. the lobby also has a nice fireplace and a great place to relax and read. We didn't get to use the pool or the hot tubes in the pool area, maybe next time. I will be recommending this place to everyone I know. special thank's to eric and trish!!!!

This is the most amazing place to stay. We were welcomed by the most friendliest staff when we checked it. They were very helpful and informed us of everything we needed to know. The suite was gorgeous nicely furnished and had all the essentials. The master suites both had jacuzzi tubs that were to die for after spending the day in the parks. Nice and quiet nights on the balcony. Very clean and well maintained. The gym and gameroom were nice and the onsite store had anything you ever needed to buy, we made breakfast each morning. I was sad to check out but have already looked into a return trip. I have been to Orlando many times and so glad I have now found my new home away from home!!

We stayed for five nights in tower two in a three bedroom, two bathroom unit. We have been traveling around the USA for four weeks already with our four year old twins; it was so nice to arrive at this hotel and be able to have so much space, fantastic cooking equipment and supplies (we even had an electric mixer, and made a birthday cake). The bathroom in the king room was enormous, as was the spa bath. The kids slept really well and enjoyed their baths at the end of a big day at the theme parks. The pirate pool is awesome, and we even saw an armadillo down by the pool (not sure if he belonged in Florida).

We have to make a special mention of Michael, the hairdresser in the spa....he is just the greatest. He gave the best haircuts, especially for my husband, he reckons it's the best haircut and treatment he has ever had. I'm not sure if he's still there, he may be leaving the hotel soon, however if you want a special treat it is really worth seeing him.
The only issue we had was the wi fi, initially we had no connection at all, and were told a few different stories by different staff that were very inconsistent. However, after the second day we didn't have any further problems.

The outlet shops are great, and you will be certain to pick up a few bargains there. We drove to the theme parks every day, and it only took us about 10 to 15 minutes to get to magic kingdom and Hollywood studios. It took slightly longer to get to animal kingdom; you must go on the dinosaur ride there, it was the best ride out of all the three theme parks we went to (although our daughter was VERY scared).

For exploring the theme parks, relaxing and preparing meals in the morning and even g in absolute comfort, as well as attending to your washing (great washer and dryer); this is the perfect place for families with kids. We would definitely recommend and return ourselves.

We just returned from a week long stay at the Lake Buena Vista Resort and we loved it. We traveled with3 children ages 1,5,8 and the property was perfect for them. We've stayed at other Orlando resorts in the past (including Disney) but this has been the best. The zero-entry pool with pirate ship was perfect for the smaller kids.

Some of the past reviews have mentioned cleanliness, etc. The carpets could definitely use a deep cleaning but other than that the rooms were fine. Staff was attentive and efficient as well as very friendly. We ate twice at the Irish pub on the property and it was excellent. The mini-mart really did have everything however there is a Super Wal-Mart just down the road when we wanted more substantial groceries. The location to the parks is great and it never took more than 5 minutes to drive to the parks.

The poolside pub was great for snacks, ice cream, light meals, and drinks. I wish there was a restaurant onsite that offered breakfast but there are many within driving distance.

We'll definitely be back!
