First off I will say that we waited across the lot at Bahama breezes for 40 minutes and they misquoted us and said it would be 40 minutes more. Luckily BJ's had no wait (I can't imagine why) so we went here for dinner. Kristen was our server and she was awesome. Attentive, knowledgable about the menu and great with the kids!
We ate the corn fritters, appetizer sampler platter and the Ahi tuna appetizer (we were starving). They were all fresh and delicious. The sampler platter had these avocado rolls that were out if this world, mozzarella sticks, sante fe chicken Spring rolls and a delicious spinach dip and chips. Their beers are their own brews and we had the Abby Normal brew in a pitcher, as per Kristen's suggestion and it was very good and complimented what we ate. The kids drank delicious cream soda and orange cream soda, also their own brews.
Our main dishes were out of this world. I had the Cajun chicken pasta, my kids had the chicken Alfredo fettuccine pasta, double burger platter and the parm crusted chicken. My husband had the New Orleans jambalaya and he loved it! The portions were so big that we all had leftovers! We all had to save room for dessert and we shared a White macadamia nut Pizookie (a portion of the sales get donated to cystic fibrosis, one of our favorite charities!). It was a large fresh baked white macadamia nut cookie and scoop of vanilla Ice cream.
Everything was fresh and delicious. The service and staff, including the manager that came to the table, were all so professional and friendly! We have never been so glad to have had to leave a restaurant and stumble on this gem!!! We can't wait to go back and we hope North Carolina gets one soon!!
