Owner description: Already voted "most improved golf course in Central Florida" by Florida Golf Central Magazine, Lake Orlando Golf Club is ready to provide an unparalleled experience for golfers of all abilities. Once on the golf course, golfers fall in love with both the beauty and challenges offered by this Lloyd Clifton design. Lake Orlando is unrivaled for both its demand of accuracy and its scenic beauty. Each hole has its own unique character, offering magnificent views over lakes and wildlife while moving left and right through tall thickets of majestic Cypress tress. Apart from enjoying the scenery, golfers must hit precise shots and manage their golf game diligently, as this is a shot-makers course with tight fairways and water on every hole. Lake Orlando offers four sets of tees to make for an enjoyable and challenging experience for golfers of all abilities.

This is a very picturesque, tropical course with lots of water, narrow fairways and many bunkers. I have always found the management and staff to be very cordial and proficient. While it is not an upscale course, the grounds crew does their best to keep it nicely maintained, it is very affordable and a pleasure to play in a relaxed atmosphere.

I have played this course at least twice a week every time I come to Orlando and it is always a great course. It's no Disney but the price is great and the course is in very good shape. Some of the staff get too serious but the manager is great. He has realy turned things around in the past 3-4 years and help with everything. If you have a problems just ask for him and he will take care of you with a big smile.

I totally disagree with the few people who gave lake Orlando Golf Club a negative review. The manager and his staff are most pleasant, and they always treat their guests with the utmost courtesy and respect. One is always greeted with a friendly smile in the pro shop and by the starter on the first tee.

This is a very picturesque course, but it is rather challenging given the narrow fairways, water on practically every hole and an abundance of trees. Then again, that's the fun of it.

Of course it's not the Ritz but neither are the fees. Lake Orlando is a very fine golf course for the price.

I play this course once a week and as a female golfer it is a challenge. Built around beautiful Lake Orlando it is good quality for the money. It isn't Disney standards but the grounds crew work hard keeping it maintained. I have found the staff to be exceptionally friendly. Obviously some people wouldn't be happy no matter how they were treated. If you want a test of your game for a good value, this is the place.

Agreed, the whole course could be in better condition but you get what you pay for. If you are looking for a really good price to play or are looking for a good place to learn and take your time, then this is a great course.
The grass isn't perfect but the carts are new and have gps, and for what your paying to play I think that's pretty fair.
No it's not pristine but for a weekday round it's perfectly fine and cost effective.

Also it's really neat to hit the range and they all go in the lake. If your lucky you will see the scuba diver they pay to go collect all the range balls! Kinda interesting!
