Congo river was reasonably priced and the course is nicely done but there wasn't enough lighting for night play so shadows got very annoying.

In an attempt to find something different to do after many days of theme parks, my kids suggested we do miniature golf.
Congo River was the first we came across and we were glad we did. Golf course was challenging(for mini-golf), well maintained and fun. But what made the night was being able to feed the baby gators using "fishing poles" and pieces of hot dog. The younger kids had a blast doing this and it ended up being one of those unique experiences that you didnt expect to have. Something inexpensive(by Orlando standards) and fun to do.

We balked at $32 for two people but paid anyway, this gives us a round on each of the courses, totalling 36 holes. It took about 1.5 hours in all, so it could have been worse value for money. They've made an effort with the presentation, waterfalls, rock formations, lighting, music and so on. However the hole design is a little simple and repetitive, Although there are a couple of interesting risk vs reward holes, many are a simple dogleg to the right with a bit of a slope, and minimal challenge.
Although not the fault of the course itself, there's also the issue of slow play. For us at least, none of the slower and larger groups we encountered offered to let us play through, and so bored with waiting, we eventually sneaked by and missed a hole.
Overall pretty good, and better than the average crazy golf, that's for sure, but you're definitely paying for it too.

Whilst on vacation 3 of us (Adults) decided to have a go at Mini golf. We passed the George and Dragon British Pub with the big red double decker London Bus and found ourselves at Congo River. There was a little pool outside with baby gators lounging in the sun and I am assured they are cute. We all know they are gonna grow up big and hungry! The golf is split into two courses Stanley and Livingstone. I found this to be a good day out, playing golf in the sun, following the treasure trail and attempting to retrieve my ball from the little streams. The ball was a water magnet and I am not very good at this mini golf, It took us a while to go around but this is because we were useless which is all part of the fun. At that time we were the only people playing so we had an entire attraction to ourselves. If it hot and sunny take plenty to drink on the way round.

We found this place by accident after stopping at the wonderful little ice cream place in front of it. We decided to give it a try and so glad we did. The employees were dressed in their congo uniforms and so friendly and professional. There were two courses to choose from and the one we played was lots of fun. The courses are clean and well-lit. There is also a little artifact hunt as a side game, which we had fun doing as well. There are prizes for that at the end, which amounts to discounts on future games or on gator food. We opted for the gator food and the children enjoyed feeding them with poles and strings.
