“Comfort Food”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 7, 2013

This is one of our favorites. It's great to eat all kinds of different foods when you are at Disney but sometimes you just want homey food. This is like a thanksgiving dinner and all you can eat. The meal starts with a salad and warm yeast rolls with honey butter. Then you get mac and cheese, mashed potatos and gravy, green beans, a plate of mixed veggies (zucchini, carrots...) turkey breast, pork roast and roast beef. Whatever you want more of they will bring out to you. And then there is dessert, it's a delicious warm cake with craisins and ice cream on top. Worth the money.

“Excellent food and service!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 6, 2013

My husband and I ate here for dinner after not eating here in a few years. We were not disappointed. The service was great. Our server was very friendly and brought things out quickly! Liberty Tree Tavern serves a Thanksgiving style meal at dinner time. You start with wonderful hot rolls, then a salad with homemade dressing, and then you get the main course- roast beef, turkey, pork, veggies, stuffing, mashed potatoes and mac and cheese. It was all delicious- especially the roast beef. The dessert was great, too. The servers are all dressed in colonial style, and you sit in various rooms of the old "house". We were in and out in less than an hour- a perfect way to get off of our feet for a bit before we headed back out for more fun in the Magic Kingdom! Make sure that you make Advanced Dining Reservations to make sure that you can get in. You will not be disappointed!

“Lots of food”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 6, 2013

We went to the Liberty Tree Tavern on October 28th. Only waited about 5 minutes with a reservation and everyone was very nice. My husband and I got to pot roast and it was pretty good. My daughter got the thanksgiving meal and said it was good.My 5 year old granddaughter got the Mac and cheese and ate about 2 bites but that's because she never eats. I tasted it and it was good. But the best part was the ooey gooey toffee cake so make sure you save room because the portions are very big.

“Extremely Hospitable Staff at Customer Friendly Disney World Resturant”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 5, 2013

During our recent visit to WDW's Fort Wilderness Campgrounds we decided to visit the Magic Kingdom for dinner. We selected the Liberty Tree Tavern in Frontier Land. We did not have reservations but decided to try to have dinner there anyway. We arrived around 4:00pm and were told that without reservations we could not get in for dinner. However, the nice hostess at the door asked us to come back around 4:30pm to see if there had been any reservation cancellations. We came back at 4:15pm and began chatting with one of the staff members waiting at the entrance door. Learning where each of us were from and having visited his home in San Juan, Puerto Rico a few years back, we instantly achieved a warm reception from the staff member who said he thought he could get us in for dinner. Just a few minutes later, he came out and invited us in to make our reservation. Shortly thereafter, we were called to our table and experienced a very delicious family style meal. Roast beef, ham, turkey and dressing with gravy, mashed potatoes, green beans, and cranberry sauce were served to us as an "all you can eat" menu. We also had a delicious hot apple cobbler with ice cream to top off our outstanding meal. The waitress was very attentive and kept our glasses filled repeatedly. A great expectation turned out as we had wanted in celebration of our 45th wedding anniversary. Great food, great service and friendly wait staff.

“Good food, great service!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 4, 2013

We had reservations during our visit on the Disney dining plan. We showed up a few minutes early and had to wait about 1/2 hour for our table. When we were seated, our server brought out warm rolls & cold drinks. Just what was needed after walking all day! Our server was great! He took the time to check on our drinks, ask us if we needed anything & even joked around a bit in between, despite it being crazy busy that day. When asked, he said that he has been with Disney for 15 years, 13 of them with Liberty Tree. That explains the great attitude - he truly loves his job! The food was all comfort food - meats, mashed potatoes & gravy, mac & cheese. Some good, some just ok. You can eat as much or as little as you want, we asked for seconds on our favorites! The dessert was an apple-craisin cake with vanilla ice-cream. We only sampled it because we were so full at that point. Not Bad! As far as Disney dining goes, this place was definitely worth it!
