“Great atmosphere, so-so food”
Reviewed July 28, 2011

The interior of this restaurant is a work of art in itself and is a great replica of a historic tavern, though the food lacks the same punch. Sandwiches are alright but the meat was barely lukewarm. It wasn't the quality of food that we paid for. However, they have wonderful homemade potato chips.

“Seems to be slipping”
Reviewed July 24, 2011

This used to be a mainstay for our Disney trips, but our last trip left us disappointed. The new menu options did not sit well -- pork was substituted for ham (which didn't make my son too happy), and the apple cobber for dessert was substituted for some ghastly cranberry bread pudding. Also, we were there right when dinner kicked off and our salad seemed like it was sitting around all afternoon .. we asked for a second bowl and it was better.. Anywho, still a decent place, but not what it once was IMHO..

“Great home-styled lunch/dinner! 5 stars *****”
Reviewed July 4, 2011

We stopped here for lunch on our visit to Magic Kingdom. The food was excellent! The turkey and beef was delicious. The mashed potatoes were yummy too. A little pricey but worth every penny! Service was great and very attentive. We can't wait to go back and eat here again!!!

“You can do better!”
Reviewed July 1, 2011

While the genre is excellent (great reproduction of a tavern), the food is mediocre and pricey and the serving staff was cheeky. And be aware that there are no menu options! (only to eat or not - the latter being my preference).
