“Did not meet expectations”
Reviewed January 31, 2013

The service at the Plaza was incredible, as it is at most Disney restaurants, but the food was not all that we expected. The hamburger was barely edible. At this meal, I was trying to eat healthier, and they did have delicious salad choices. My biggest complaint about the restaurant is that it was so loud. The acoustics were awful. It was a great location for the parade- a great place for the more tired folks in the group to sit, and the more energtic ones to watch!

“Great Service”
Reviewed January 30, 2013

My son 1 month before going to WDW found out he had alot of food allergies. The Chef came out to our table and talked with us, and made our son some dough for his sandwich special to work around his allergies. Never in my life had I had such service and concern. Thank you. You made it that much more special.

“5 Star Sandwiches and Ice Cream!”
Reviewed January 25, 2013

This is truly a hidden gem at the Magic Kingdom. The menu is full of tasty sandwich choices - reubens, club sandwich, burgers and more! For dessert the ice cream sundaes are just amazing. Be sure to save room for dessert. Have food allergies? A chef will come out to your table to help you with your food selection. This place is tucked away off Main Street. Be sure to seek it out!

“Yummy!”
Reviewed January 18, 2013

A group of 7 of us had dinner here. Nothing fancy but the food was excellent. They were featuring a Peppermint Milkshake which a few of us had. Yum! I had a wonderful salad with chicken, gorgonzola and strawberries. The whole meal was delightful!

“A step above counter service restaurants at the Magic Kingdom when you get tired of them”
Reviewed January 16, 2013

The Plaza Restaurant located off of Main Street USA, next door to the ice cream parlor is a sit-down fast service restaurant. The menu is limited and the dining room is not that big. It is quite a nice change to have someone wait on you and less of a crowd than many of the quick service restaurants in the Magic Kingdom where you often have to search and search for a table or wait in long lines. Most of the menu consisted of sandwich items with the exception of the meatloaf plate which was very good. Two thick slices of meatloaf with red bliss mashed potatoes and brocolli salad... opt out of the brocolli salad and ask for some housemade potato chips. The housemade potato chips are extra crispy and have a very good taste... try them! Beverage refills are allowed here and if you are an fresh brewed iced tea lover, the tea here is very good.
The prices are a little on the high side, but it is worth having a table, server, and a quieter place to sit down, eat, and relax. Portion sizes were on the bigger size, but nothing crazy.
