“Still good, not as great”
Reviewed March 26, 2013

Charley's did away with the salad bar, the onion soup which were an attractive part of dining there. Now they make a salad at table side....not bad but not the same. The steaks - fillet mignon, Pork Chops as good as ever if you do not get them more than medium. Service is attentive and timely. Always good parking. Neighborhood - well, not the best but is safe.

“Messed up a steak”
Reviewed March 14, 2013

In our party of 6, only one of us ordered a steak. First the waiter came over to say our meal was delayed because the chef hadn't liked how the steak turned out and was refiring it. When the steak finally appeared, it was inedible. The rest of our entrees ranged from greasy and overcooked fish to good chicken. The sides weren't any better. The salad was soaked in a strange olive juice dressing. The mashed potatoes had some weird breadcrumb mixture and were inedible. The managers obviously knew their restaurant had problems and kept coming over to ask us how we were enjoying our meal, but had no way to fix the problems. This restaurant was highly recommended by friends who had enjoyed it in the past, but it has clearly lost its way recently.

“Great steak, great value!”
Reviewed March 9, 2013

We have always loved Charley's Steakhouse but had not visited since they changed the name to Charley's Wildfire Grille. We were concerned about any changes that may have taken place, but were pleasantly surprised to find the same delicious signature steaks...tender, juicy, cooked to perfection. Also worth noting are the seafood offerings, and don't miss out on the fantastic bacon and cheddar smashed potatoes. We had the 12 oz filet and the fresh catch on cedar plank. Both were out of this world! All of the food is cooked over an open wood fire using oak and citrus woods. Charley's truly does have some of the best steaks to be found in Orlando...and we live here, so we know!! In addition, the decor is beautiful, the staff is very friendly, the surroundings are relaxing, and the prices are very reasonable (much more so than many of the other steaks houses around town.) If you love steaks you must visit...it is a memorable experience and you most surely will leave satisfied!

“First time and we'll be back!”
Reviewed March 1, 2013

Charley's Wildfire Grill had been recommended to us, so we decided to give it a try. We were greeted by friendly staff at the door. We were immediately seated and enjoyed looking over the menu of their offerings, which were plentiful. We ordered the fried mushrooms as an appetizer. Delicious! We enjoyed steak and seafood at our table. One of the managers, Colleen, stopped by to see how our dining experience was. She genuinely seemed to care about our experience. Not just a rushed-over, flashy, non-caring attitude, but an authentic caring. Not sure how many restaurants have management so involved with their guests. Charley's desserts were served in little glasses, just the right size to top off the evening after a great meal.

“Another great restaurant gone”
Reviewed February 27, 2013

Well another huge corporate mistake. Menu has been changed, and not for the better. Salad bar has been removed and replaced a nasty, wilted salad served tableside. The once wonderful steakhouse has been reduced to the level of a chain restaurant. Cheaper cuts of meat that management feels the need to cover up with sauces and rubs have replaced the once beautiful meat cart presentation. Service is lousy. I guess you get what you pay for. We have been eating at Charleys Steakhouse for many years, be we won't be back.
