Description: "Biergarten restaurant, in the heart of the Bavarian Village in the Germany Pavilion at Epcot theme park, celebrates Oktoberfest all year long. Authentic German cuisine is served for lunch and dinner buffets. Lively costumed musicians provide traditional Oktoberfest entertainment throughout lunch and dinner. Music and merriment resound as diners are encouraged to dance and be part of the boisterous merrymaking–or simply relax in the twilight atmosphere in this magnificent German hall. At the Biergarten Restaurant, seating is at long communal tables that offer a great view of the festivities. Grab a chair, join the revelry and create your own traditional German meal. Rotating lunch and dinner selections consist of hearty German favorites such as bratwurst, red cabbage sauerkraut, pork schnitzel and spaetzle. Delicious desserts, from Bavarian cheesecake to freshly baked apple strudel, complete any meal at the Biergarten Restaurant.

If you like any type of meat products this place is for you. The buffet is very salty but authenticate. It's about $20/pp.

“Fantastic!!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 3, 2006

Great food, great service, great show!! Very scenic inside. We had buffet lunch. Runs 20$$ per adult, and 10$$ per child. One soft drink only included with meal. We had all kinds of sausages, sourkraut, red cabbage, weiners (which my very picky 9 year old raved about), breaded chicken, chicken on bone, several types of cold and warm salads, soft pretzels in the shape of mini loaves of bread. They also have a dessert bar which I didn't have room for!! LOL
Will definitely go back!!

“Atmosphere”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 28, 2006

My husband and I ate at Biergarten during our week-long trip to Disney World. We made reservations 2 weeks prior and when we arrived the night of our reservation we were seated promptly at a table with 4 other people. This is how all seating is at Biergarten but we really did not mind at all because we had such a good time.
The buffet is plentiful and has a wide variety of foods so even those who do not like german food can find something they will enjoy. Some foods that come to mind: wursts, pork, schnitzel (chicken and pork), a variety of cold salads, a variety of rolls, fish, macaroni & cheese, and several beef choices.
There is also a dessert portion of the buffet. I lived in germany for 6 years and I found the food, for the most part, to taste authentic. However, I did not like the schwarzwald cake (blackforest cake). It tasted like something out of a box, not like the real thing. Other than that I thought the food was fabulous and the atmosphere was very fun.
The band played lively german polka music and many people got up and danced with their children.
There is a nice wine/beer menu. I had the wine flight which was a wine sampler with 3 different wines. It was a good way to try the different varieties without ordering entire glasses.
The service was friendly and prompt. The only problem we had was that it was very loud during the time when the band was playing and it made it very difficult to communicate with the waiter.
Overall our experiance at Biergarten was great and we will eat there again when we return to Epcot.

“Fantastisch”

The Biergarten is a great place to stuff yourself with traditional german food and wash it down with a cold Warstiener. The german band and friendly staff make for an excellent atmosphere. You sit at a large table with your fellow tourist so you get to meet some new people.

“Great food, very fun atmosphere”

The Biergarten makes for a pricey lunch, but you won't need dinner. The buffet is really extensive and had everything German that I like to eat - all of it hot and well prepared. The service was really good, and our waitress was a very interesting and entertaining young woman. The addition of a liter of beer and an oompah band made for the perfect lunch, to be followed by a nap. One caution: Seating is family style, so you might share a table with strangers - we found this fun, but it's definitely not the place to go for a romantic getaway lunch or dinner.
