We returned to Cape May last weekend and once agian the experience was super! This is one of Disney's best dining venues. The seafood was well prepared, soups, crabs, clams, fish, and mussels. For those who prefer "land" - they had chicken, beef, and also chicken nuggets and hot dogs for the kids. Great deserts, nice drinks menu too. Make time to go all the way to Cape May! You will be glad you did!

For those who frequent the eastern shores of the US, there are always a couple of "all-you-can-eat" seafood restaurants and you probably all fell for the deal at one of them. We have too, but we seem to leave feeling somewhat underwhelmed- so-so seafood that all tastes the same-like it sat on a steam table too long, a bunch of other food that is nothing exciting. We have stopped going to these types of buffets so I was hoping Disney would not disappoint.

The Cape May Seafood Buffet did not disappoint. It worked great for us because we stayed at the Beach Club and the day we dined here we were at DHS. We had a very light, early lunch to make sure we had a good appetite.

It was an excellent buffet that was kept stocked and everything on it was freshly cooked either right at the buffet or nearby kitchen. Nothing tasted like it sat too long. We are huge seafood eaters- even the kids eat mussels, clams, crab legs and shrimp. It is pricey but no more than some of the eastern shore all-you-can-eats or other Disney places, but it was worth it for us.

All of the seafood was tasty. None of us ate any of the "land food" offerings. The salads were just right- we did not eat huge helpings but enough to sample. 2 of our 3 kids were "kids" for dining purposes but were not only allowed the kids buffet items but could eat any thing on the buffet. For us again the price was right because our kids eat seafood. Desserts were nice small sized samplers that worked well so you could have a taste of everything.

The staff were working very hard and things were never empty. The waitresses were continually filling the drinks and clearing away the seafood shells, etc. Also saw the chef come out and it seemed he was working on options for someone with an allergy.

Consider this Disney restaurant and explore the Beach Club area if you don't stay in the EPCOT resorts. The boardwalk is an awesome area of Disney- short walk from the EPCOT International Gateway to the Cape May Café.

The Cape May Cafe was some of the best variety I have had in a long time. The crab legs were good, I love peel & eat shrimp, so I was thankful to see that on the buffet. The carving board, mashed potatoes, mac & cheese and many other items were good. We got full before we could eat everything that we wanted. We will definitely go there again! You can't go to Florida without having seafood!

We had breakfast here twice, very busy you definitely need to book well in advance..
The kids loved the characters that walk around and we got their autographs and a photo..
Food for breakfast is average to good..a mixture of American, continental and even food we would never eat for breakfast..
All you can eat buffet. We did feel a bit rushed and the bill was bought to us before we had finished, which seems to be the norm over at Disney but I don't like it..we were then asked if the girls had seen all the characters, as they do a specific route to make sure they don't miss anyone out, so again I felt pressured to leave..however if you stand your ground no one forces you to leave..
I wouldn't choose this restaurant again but as we were staying at the hotel it is in we ate here twice for convenience.

Cape May Cafe remains one of our must-do reservations each visit. The steamed seafood is exceptional as are the buffet side items and land-lover entrees. There is a great selection and we have never had a bad experience. There is no rush and a relaxed meal is no problem. We will continue to dine here each visit to Disneyworld!
