“Great seafood buffet, something for everyone.”
Reviewed March 18, 2013

After reading several reviews, I was debating if we should go here or not. I am glad we did. My Mom, Dad, husband and daughter were with me. My husband loves seafood and he had a great meal. I don't understand why people did not like this buffet. There is a great selection and things are cooked well.
On one side is the salads which I found rather good. I have recently been trying to eat meatless and was wondering what would be available to me: lots of good salad selections (especially the marinated seafood salad which although it had small shrimp and scallops I could not resist). There was also a vegetable medley served hot but this was salty.
Anyways, the side with the salads also had cold shrimp which you peel yourself. On another side was mussels, clams, vegetables, potatoes, corn bread, rolls and crab legs. On another side was more crab legs, salmon, pasta dish. There was a carving station with prime and a children's section with mac and cheese (which alot of the adults took), fish nuggets, fried chicken, pizza.
There were kid desserts like cookies and cupcakes and then a more sophisticated dessert area with fancy pastries.
We all enjoyed the food and again you can eat as little or as much as you like. The service was very good which is often not the case at a buffet. We also had some lovely wine and cocktails.
I would recommend this if you have a group where some like seafood and some don't because they have such a varied selection. However, if you have someone in the group that does not like the smell of seafood forget it.
It does get very crowded so be sure to make advanced dining arrangements.

“Pretty Standard”
Reviewed March 16, 2013

We choose this restaurant for the breakfast buffet because it was in our hotel. The waitstaff was very friendly. The food was pretty standard for a Disney buffet, nothing to write home about, but good for starting the day off and a fair variety. It was nice to go early because the characters spent a pretty good amount of time hanging out and taking pictures with people at each table.

“Fun for kids”
Reviewed March 15, 2013

For $25 per person the food was ok, but I certainly expected some food cooked to order (such as an omelet station). The buffet had an 'ok' selection, but not nearly as good as Goofy's Kitchen at Disneyland - it is FABULOUS!! Still, fun for kids to interact with the characters.

“Good Breakfast but not so good seafood evening”
Reviewed March 15, 2013

The breakfast was very good, food was hot, good choice of dishes and the characters came round a lot and were very happy to pose for photos. The Mickey waffles were warm and served with strawberries and cream - I had a few of these!
The seafood buffet should really be called crab and very small clams! Not much else. It was nice but a little disappointing if you like seafood. The rib was tender, the paella did not taste like the real one but was good. I love desserts but they were not up to my standards, only had a taste of of couple of them - not so good.

“Cape May”
Reviewed March 14, 2013

It was an "ok" buffet. Food was ok but the way it is organized was just a cluster. Too crowded to enjoy getting your food.
