After reading several reviews, I was debating if we should go here or not. I am glad we did. My Mom, Dad, husband and daughter were with me. My husband loves seafood and he had a great meal. I don't understand why people did not like this buffet. There is a great selection and things are cooked well.
On one side is the salads which I found rather good. I have recently been trying to eat meatless and was wondering what would be available to me: lots of good salad selections (especially the marinated seafood salad which although it had small shrimp and scallops I could not resist). There was also a vegetable medley served hot but this was salty.
Anyways, the side with the salads also had cold shrimp which you peel yourself. On another side was mussels, clams, vegetables, potatoes, corn bread, rolls and crab legs. On another side was more crab legs, salmon, pasta dish. There was a carving station with prime and a children's section with mac and cheese (which alot of the adults took), fish nuggets, fried chicken, pizza.
There were kid desserts like cookies and cupcakes and then a more sophisticated dessert area with fancy pastries.
We all enjoyed the food and again you can eat as little or as much as you like. The service was very good which is often not the case at a buffet. We also had some lovely wine and cocktails.
I would recommend this if you have a group where some like seafood and some don't because they have such a varied selection. However, if you have someone in the group that does not like the smell of seafood forget it.
It does get very crowded so be sure to make advanced dining arrangements.
