We enjoyed a nice breakfast with the Characters at Cape May. I was very excited for my daughter who couldn't believe the characters were going to come to our table it was our first character breakfast. She actually ate all her food and it's a decent breakfast buffet. We were so into her meeting the characters we didn't have much to complain about the food, it's pricey but it's not so much about the food than it is the character experience. We did do anothter character breakfast at Hollywood & Vine, which in comparison was a much better character experience because they actually danced with the kids during breakfast, I think that would be great for them to do something like that at Cape May also.

As east coasters, we were disappointed with the freshness of the seafood. The breakfasts are good but walk to beaches and cream for dinner or better yet, Epcot.

This restaurant had a wonderful buffet with plenty to choose from. They had a variety of meats, seafood, veggies, and yummy desserts. The strawberry shortcakes were to die for!!

We went to Cape May Cafe for breakfast on December 1st. There was a very long line to check in and we had to wait for about 30 minutes even though we had a reservation. The lobby and grounds were a very nice place to wait though. We were seated and the server brought our drinks. She informed us of when the characters would arrive. I went up to get food from the buffet for my kids and it was chaotic. There is a separate line on each side of the buffet and at one point the lines converge into each other going opposite directions. The second time I went up to the buffet it was less crowded and easier to navigate. The food was very good and the character interaction was good as well. They gave my daughter a cupcake to celebrate her birthday. It was a good meal, but I do not feel the need to rush back on our next visit to Disney World.

We took our 2 grown children and their 2 daughters age 7 & 9. They really enjoyed their time. The breakfast was just OK... nothing to write home about. Used Disney dining plan. Probably worth it overall... but again.. pretty non-descript.
