“Very nice place!”
Reviewed January 31, 2014

Were here for a long weekend in January and really enjoyed it. Had a pool view which was very nice and were able to watch the fireworks from Disney every night. Did not eat on the property since all prices seemed a bit high to us but probably not in relation to it's proximity to Disney. Shuttle service was available so we took advantage of that to spend an afternoon/evening at Downtown Disney. Staff was friendly and helpful and the room was very comfortable. On my list for a repeat stay when next visiting Orlando.

Newer property close to Disney World. It only took 5-10 minutes to get to the parks. The unit was attractive and comfortable. We missed it as soon as we left. There was a nice pond and signs that talked about the history of Bonnet Creek as well as free mini golf and ping pong on the premise.

We stayed in this hotel for a week in January and it was amazing. It is inside Disney property. Service is top notch for sure. The hotel looks very fresh and new. We had two queen beds and the room was spacious for us. There is most likely only two view option. Lake view/ pool view or parking area. Just make sure to request for lake view when checking in. You can also see fireworks at night from Epcot. The location though is a little further away from outside restaurants / stores. They have a shuttle that runs on schedule, depends on where you're going. All disney theme park routes are free, others are extra charge. I would recommend renting a car if you stay in this hotel and have plans to do somethings outside Disney. Pack extra budget though, they charge for parking in the hotel and parking in theme parks too. They have at least 3 choices in the hotel to
eat but it's pricey. Although food is good so it's worth it. Pre caution- when you are inquiring about park tickets, they will offer you discounts and a tour. The lady explaining to me get me confused, she made it sound like a disney tour when it's actually a timeshare presentation where in you need to attend to get the discount
. They say it's 2 hours but it can go up to 3,4 hours. It's a presentation about timeshare, quick tour of the property then they start forcing you to buy. Min is 38,000 an they will offer you numbers. You say no, they manager will come over, you say no, they started to get mad and upset. The salesman who was our rep was so upset on us we said we are not ready for it. It's not something we had planned for at that moment, he started scrutinizing our family etc etc. We insisted we are not buying any shares, he sent a survey lady who will again try to lure you one last time until We mentioned, we are on a time plan and we really don't wanna ruin our vacation because of them holding us there. Then the lady quickly filled out the 5 question survey and summed up. I feel so bad for them, they need to decieve people to join/ buy their time share... They could be more honest and transparent and they will really get interested investors

Thank you for taking the time to provide this feedback including area information and restaurants suggestions for future guests. We appreciate your kind words regarding our unit and resort accommodations. We are disappointed to hear your interaction with the sales staff did not meet your expectations, as this is not part of the Count On Me service we take pride in. We know that while on vacation it is imperative that our guests are treated well. Please rest assured that we will be taking action to ensure that this is not an issue for future guests. We look forward to your next visit.

Stay here (We are Wyndham Owners) quite often as location to all the parks is fantastic and accomodations make it a great choice -- whether a couple of days or a week. BCR is a beautiful facility and has great recreational facilities (pool, couple of on-premise restaurants, etc.) for those days to relax at the resort and the rooms are quite nice and the Internet speeds are fast. Tower 6, next to the Wyndham hotel, is a great place to stay and the 1 Bedroom Presidential Rooms are awesome. We attended the owners update (some very good info) and had the typical discussions on possible purchases -- but we told the person we were not interested and received our $100 gift card and left for the park -- the experience will take a minimum of an hour and a half....so plan accordingly.

Let me offer some tips:

Tip 1: BCR now charges for the shuttle bus to the parks ($6pp/day) -- the cost of parking at a park is $15 and can be used at any of the parks during the day....so If you have more than two folks I recommend driving. The convenience of the car pays off later in the day after all are tired and just want to get back and relax.

Tip 2: If not a Wyndham Owner and looking to stay -- go out to VRBO.com as many owners place their stays out for others to acquire especially during the high-occupancy periods of the year. There are other locations to find BCR accomodations, but all my friends use vrbo.

Tip 3: If a gym-rat (like me) the facility inside the Wyndham Hotel, attached to Tower 6 is a very nice facility with a good selection of equipment. Anyone staying in BCR can use the facilities.

Tip 4: If military (Retired or Active) check out the Disney Tickets offered every year as a salute to our military heroes -- a 4-day Disney ticket w/Park Hopper is $169!!! You can pick up these tickets at Shades of Green (Military Resort) at Disney. More info go to shadesofgreen.org

This complex IS on Disney property, I want to believe that Disney dictates the cost of food, and beverage and other items sold there. We did not rent a car, as we were told getting to the parks was run by Disney or the Wyndham property. What they didn't tell us that unless you took a cab, there was no affordable food shopping. The little gift/convenient store on the property was SO over priced! $6.00 for a dozen eggs, $6.00 for a jar of pasta sauce, $6.00 for a 16 oz. box of pasta. I called the six dollar store. They didn't have much of a supply of anything to speak of, they did sell Starbucks coffees at a normal price, surprise, surprise. I was there last week when it was very cold, the restaurants are open air, so it was not conducive to comfortable dinning. Also they have nothing in the rooms to tell you what is in the area in the way of dinning, shopping or just general information. But the condos are really clean well appointed and have everything you need to cook a meal just no place to buy groceries.

Room Tip: rooms above the 3rd floor can see the fire works from one of the Disney parks.

We had the very good fortune of staying in a 3 Bedroom Presidential Suite in building 6. First impressions were awesome, it was the first time having a double door entrance, the place was palatial!! My kids thought we had one the lottery!
The furniture is all oversized but because of the high ceilings and the layout the space is still ridiculous. I counted over 35 paces from the master to the corridor for the other two bedrooms. One of which has two queens and the other a King. The Master suite is incredibly spacious and features a king bed a spa tube and a very large walk-in shower. There is a flat screen computer on the wall by the door which acts as your own private concierge. The dining table could seat 10 or 12 and reminded me of the old "pass the salt joke" as the table seemed to stretch for miles. State of the art electronics with a Bose surround system for the main TV in the living-room.
The kitchen was furnished with top notch stainless appliances and featured all the amenities one would require. The location is great for visiting Disney Resorts and attractions but are far from anything off Disney property. Shuttle service to and from the resorts was very convenient and reliable. The grounds are very nice. The pools and lazy river were a lot of fun for the kids. It is also nice to have the Hotel on site. We could walk to the hotel along connecting corridors from our building. The fact that there are restaurants and a gift/convenience store so close is very practical; conveniently combines condo and hotel living. I recommend this resort for those visiting the Disney parks and are looking to stay in the lap of luxury.

Great place, with many activities and located near a slew of fun places. I stayed with my wife and 4 year old daughter, and we went to Disney everyday. There were so many activities to also do at the hotel that we were never bored!
We stayed in January and were pleasantly surprised at how much fun we had - including swimming in a lazy river in the middle of winter (it was heated).

Green Features: They offer recycling, and have heating & ac units that shut off when doors are open - very smart.
