I truly enjoy staying at Wyndham Bonnet Creek Resort inside Disney theme park area during the summer of 2011, during Memorial Day weekend (May 25th thru May 29th). This resort has everything you need and it is accommodating as if you were in your own home, ok upgraded apartment or condo. you have all the necessary amenities to either prepare your own meals or store meals (that you have paid for) in a decent refrigerator. Fully functioning kitchen, where you only have to bring is the food, everything else is readily available for you (paper towels, dish towels, new dishes, pots/pans, silver ware; you get the picture). I truly like that fact that you have a washer and dryer (with complementary soap powder) to at least go home with some clean, dry clothes not have to carry any dirty clothes home to wash/dry later. I also like the fact about this resort is they are truly kid friendly! They have well planned out activities for kids of ALL ages to not be busy, which is a huge plus to me and you do not have to spend $100 (hundreds) of dollars to entertain kids after they have been strolling, running, walking and spending $1000 (hundreds to thousands) dollars at Disney theme parks. That is what I like about Wyndham's Bonnet Creek. Even though, your entire plan is to come to Disney for either you or your kids (family) to enjoy, but you are given a choice to spend or save some money. Spend a little at a Disney Theme park and then spend a day or two at Wyndham Bonnet Creek and the kids can go to any of the 4 pools, slide, float around within the lazy river at 2 of the 4 pools, watch a movie on the greens, eat s'more treats, make t-shirts, play on wii's or playstation 3 game boxes or video arcades, etc!! Just endless fun for EVERYONE!!
Now the draw back: I was not thrilled that the you have to pay for room-service. I figured it came a resort perk. I like to have my bed freshly made, which is what you get when you go to a hotel, even a motel fresh makes your bed for you. So do not expect to get any fresh towels or your beds made up. Oh they will bring those items to you, but you have to make up your own bed. Lastly, AC was rather noisy.

Room Tip: Any size room is accommodating and is fully functional, which includes paper towels, soap powder for...

First impressions mean a lot to me and on my first visit to this resort, I had a bad taste in my mouth. My family and I go to Disney World every other year. This year, we brought friends along and wanted to show them a nice time. At check-in, not only was the staff rude, but they also lied to us and then kept us waiting for nearly 2 hours despite the fact our room had been ready for us since 10 that morning. We arrive at the room to find stains on the carpets and rips in the couch. There was also a wasp next in our light fixture on the patio so we could not enjoy the large patio. We called the front desk 5 times over a 2 day period to get someone to come spray (my daughter is allergic to bees). They didn't spray because they couldn't find the nest (which was actually behind the light fixture). The refrigerator didn't work and all of the food we bought at the store went bad and we had to have them come fix it. The trash chute was full the entire time we were there. They only provide you with 1 roll of papertowels for a week stay in a 2 bedroom unit. After that you either go to the store and buy some or buy some for $3.50 a roll in the hotel gift shop. Also, the complimentary carts you are supposed to call to drive you around the resort do not wait for you and you will sit on hold for 5-10 minutes before they even answer. It is quicker to walk, but the walk is a long one so be prepared. One day an adult pooped in the main pool and despite us telling employees twice about it, it took them almost 45 minutes for them to send someone to look and to close the pool, so our group had to make sure no one got in until it could be cleaned out.

Room Tip: Make sure you call ahead and request a lake/pool view otherwise you get a nice view of the parking l...

My Family stayed at Wyndham Bonnet Creek for 8 days from Dec 15 - 23rd. The location is great and the room (2BR) was very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the pool/lazy river at Building 5 and also went to the pirate water slide/pool at building 6 (very easy walk). At Wyndham Bonnet Creek there is a great walkway around the lake that connects the buildings. There is a pizza pickup with Bar at Building 3 and a decent outdoor restarant at the Hotel beside Building 6. The putt putt and playground were also very nice and easily accessible.

We had a great time and would recommend this resort to everyone.

Room Tip: We stayed in Tower 5 which was very convenient to the bus stop and restaurants at the Hotel beside T...

We spent the week before christmas at Bonnet Creek. The room was beautiful. Master bedroom had a huge garden whirlpool tub. Everyone was friendly and helpful. We did use the shuttle two of the days we were there. It does take some time to get where your going but its worth not driving in the traffic. The food places were good. The wraps were very good and so was the pizza. Had a great time!! We are already planning a return visit!!

Room Tip: We were on the second floor tower 4 and had a beautiful view of the lake

We stayed at a two bedroom in the middle of December. Amazing! Building 5 was great! It had an awesome lazy river right out the back! We preferred the pool out building 4 because it was not crowed. The weather was perfect and the pools were heated. Can't wait to come again!

We stay in a room with bunk bed and it is fantastic for family with kid, room is big, comfy and roomy with additional TV on the bunk bed room, our room is facing the Pool, Pond and Disney Fire Work. We stay in the room in the Right side of the building and have limited view of firework.
Then we upgraded to 14th floor with a completed view of firework of Disney every night, kids have a very good time and we are so relax watching the fire work inside the hotel room.
The breakfast on the concierge is very very limited, I can count on the items, fresh fruits, bakery items, such as muffins, cereal plus coffee, orange and tea. THAT IS IT!!!!!
Afternoon snack, my husband went yesterday at 6:00, one item - DANISH!!!!
Come to Orlando 5 years in a row for 2 weeks, I stayed in a lot of concierge level, this is like a 2 stars hotel breakfast the best, a lot of room to improve.
Some staffs in the concierge are really make your stay very pleasure, like lovey Nicole always has a smile on the face and so patient with all the requests from the guest, like Charlie is paying so much attention to details, always try to keep all the food and drinks refills and the area clean with a sweet smile on his face all by himself without help. In between I have seen Poker face and staff there not really up to the hospitality standard.
Overall, very nice hotel and young kids have a lot things to do, like mini golf, lazy rivers, 2 water slides, free bus to Disney world and try the bunk bed room for family and ask for the Disney fire work view.

there is little or nothing wrong with this place.
great location, nice grounds, 3 pools, BIG rooms.
two things though;
1. there is a shuttle but its not worth planning around it. way too infrequent.
2. dont check in with your spouse, tell them you are alone with the kids or they will hound you!

bottom line, lie to the check in folks and bring some cash for cab rides if you fly in.

Room Tip: ask for tower 6
