If your staying at the Saratoga Spring's your lucky! It's the nicest place i've ever stayed. We stayed here for 10 days end of Oct, We had A 2 bed villa & it was so roomy it was untrue. Master bedroom had a VERY large bed with a big tv & a jacuzzi bath! With a seperate toliet & shower. Then we had the living area with an open planned kitchen & the 2nd bedroom had 2 double beds & a bathroom. It even has a dishwasher & a washing machine which was excellent as came home with no washing! Mousekeeping provide you with dishwasher & washing tablets.
Ok the resort is amazing, it has awesome pools & is so spotlessley clean everywhere. Staff are very helpful & the free buses run all the time to all the Disney park's, water parks & downtown disney frequently. We never waited more than 5 mins for a bus.
If you are on the disney dining plan I would reccomend buying breakfast stuff for your villa & using the plan for lunch & dinner. The disney dining plan was excellent, we ate in places like Planet Hollywood & Rainforest cafe. This was truly the best place I have ever stayed in Disney & would love to go back.

First of all, we loved our 2 bedroom villa at Saratoga Springs! It was huge, clean and well stocked with everything we would need. We travelled with 5 fun loving adults (3) 25 year olds and (2) old foggies (they were my husband and I)! Our villa was right next to one of the pool complexes and also ajacent to the bus stop. We love Disney. We used the Basic Meal Plan and enjoyed a week there at the parks and resorts. The Turf club is worth a visit and the resturants near the pools are great. The one food location in the Carriage House had more of a selection, and we very convenient.
They day before we were to depart, all of our flights were cancelled due to Hurricane Sandy. Our daugter and her boyfriend were suppose to fly into La Gardia, which was underwater, and our other daughter was to fly into Boston which was closed. We were headed for Hartford, Ct, which was also closed. We contacted the front desk to discuss our situation, in the hopes that perhaps we could stay somewhere on the Disney properties or perhaps they at Disney could help us find a place while we waited to fly home.
Now, here is where Disney always surpasses my expectations! Even though they were very much booked because of the Food and Wine Festival, Disney offered to allow us to stay in our existing suite. Furthernore, because of the storm and the fact that we were stranded, we were offered a discount on the villa and food plan! What? Your not going to take advantage of us, and milk this for every dollar? Not Disney. We are Disney Vacation Club Members so we used some of our points for the villa stay, but still, even for them to offer...WOW!
We finally all returned home a week from that Friday, so we remained for an additional week or so. I cannot rate Disney and this resort high enough. There are not enough circles to check. "Welcome Home" and congrats to Disney and their fine organization who truly care about people!

2-bedroom Villa provided the space needed to enjoy our stay without feeling cramped. Very clean & maintained property.
Some cons include: the dryer was extremely loud, difficulty with obtaining air mattress, location of villa was a good distance from most of the property's common areas.

We spent a week at Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa with our 5 ½ year old grandson. We are Disney Vacation Club members and have stayed at Saratoga Springs several times. It’s hard to have a favorite of the DVC resorts; they all have Disney-style class!

Saratoga Springs is equestrian themed after Saratoga Springs, New York. Be sure to walk around the Carriage House (lobby) and see the framed jockey uniforms.

Saratoga is a large resort with 6 sections—The Springs, The Paddock, Congress Park, The Carousel, The Grandstand and the Treehouse Villas. We like the Congress Park section because it is so close to Downtown Disney. Depending on the building you are in at Congress Park, it is a nice 10-15 minute walk to DTD. There is also water transportation to DTD and bus service to DTD and the parks.
There are also sections closer to the lobby, restaurant, and main pool. The main pool is a walk-in rock formation with rock waterfalls and a water slide. There are movies by the main pool in the evening. Each section has its own smaller pool which is nice because it is usually more private and quieter than the main pool.

There are a lot of kid and family activities, including a community room where you can play board games, video games, ping-pong, and do crafts.

We always get at least a one bedroom villa so we have a full kitchen and laundry. We stock up with groceries and eat in our villa at least 2 meals a day. As DVC members, we often stay at a Disney resort and not even do the parks. There are a lot of things to do at the resort, including just to rest!

Our room was large, clean, and comfortable. The outside corridor and building entrances were clean and groomed. Seems like there is always someone working on the grounds keeping!

There is a full service restaurant and a market style shop for salads and sandwiches. On this visit we did not eat at the resort dining options, but have in the past and the food is good. There is a gift shop next to the market shop. It is very small, but has resort themed articles and basic sundries. The huge Disney shop at DTD will offer you any souvenirs you could ever want!

When we checked in, the host at the door became our grandson’s quick best friend! His name is Mike and he made our grandson feel so special (it was his first Disney visit). Mike gave him stickers and listened to our grandson’s stories while we checked in. He was so nice! That is one thing we love about staying at a Disney resort – all the cast members are pleasant and friendly. They make your stay special.

We did not use them this time, but there is also a spa, fitness center, arcade and rentals for bicycles and sporting equipment.

I would recommend Saratoga Springs for couples and families alike!

Room Tip: Stay in the Congress Park section to be close to Downtown Disney.

Stayed at Saratoga Springs for the first time this past weekend while visiting Disney. The resort was very nice and clean. Originally had a one bedroom villa which was nice but ended up upgrading to a two bedroom villa for more space. Both rooms were very clean and we were provided with plenty towels etc... Staff was for the most part friendly.

The downsides are that the resort is huge, depending on what building you are in you can't easily access the lobby. You either have a long walk or you have to drive.

The place is very beautiful, grounds, restaurants, rooms, pools....
The only complaint I have is that the two nicest pools are so loud with the staff on the microphone playing supid, silly games every hour on the hour until 5 pm. You can't relax at all there, must go to the other two quiet pools that are not as nice, and the heating element was broken in both. Never got to use the pools, which i love when on vacation. They need to change that schedule at the Spings & Paddock pool. Rooms (studio) are clean and spacious for to people, beds very comfortable. Will definately come back, but in the warmer months so i can use the quiet pools and no worry about the weather.

The Palette Artist has terrific food, chef onsite.

Room Tip: A room overlooking the water and Downtown Disney is the best! The sliding glass doors are sound pro...

We booked a one bedroom for our family for a weeklong stay, and enjoyed our trip immensely. We were conveniently placed close to the center of the resort, so the pool, restaurant and bus stops were all close by. The staff were nice, but we did miss the 'Welcome home' greeting we get at every DVC resort. Also, we ordered pizza from the resort the first night, and the delivery person dropped the marinara sauce on our carpet as she opened the bag. She said she would call housekeeping to clean it the next day, but didn't hear back. I called them a day later and mentioned the spill and how we had to step over it, they sent somebody to look, but the still didn't clean it. By the time we checked out, the front area was starting to smell a little rancid, and I mentioned that to front desk at check out.
