I expected typical hotel/convention food but was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the food at this character dining experience. I opted for the meatballs which were delicious. The service was fantastic and the princesses went out of there way to make the meal special for my niece. The whole staff really went out of their way to make the meal special. Thanks you Disney for making my niece's day!

We had breakfast at Akershus so my girls could see the Disney princesses. It is a great deal if you are on the Disney dining plan. We did the breakfast at Cinderella's castle on our last visit, and it costs 2 table service meals a piece. I thought this breakfast was comparable, if not better, and you only use 1 meal from the dining plan. I realize you are not in Cinderella's castle, but it is a really neat atmosphere inside. Each of the princesses come to your table, and you get 2 free 8x10 pictures and some small ones too. The food was good. Eggs, potatoes, sausage and bacon were delivered to our table- family style, and the rest of the food was at the buffet. We thoroughly enjoyed our breakfast. I'd highly recommend this to any family with small children that adore the Disney princesses!

Pleasantly surprised by the food in this Princess laden restaurant. A great way to "knock out" a bunch of princesses at once.

Included with your meal are pictures with a princess (ours was Belle). We were also able to meet with Snow White, Aurora, Ariel, and Cinderella.

It was good to see that they stuck with Norwegian style foods and didn't "dumb it down" to traditional buffet foods.

You start with an appetizer buffet with leaf lettuce salad, meats, cheeses, and fish options. Also included are seafood salads i.e. Shrimp salad, and smoked tuna pasta salad.

Entrees are ordered from a menu. I went with the Meatball dish which was very flavorful.

Overall, the princess interaction is what you pay for. And this option seems to offer a more personal experience with the princesses than the meal at Cinderella's Royal Table.

At $42 per adult, this is one of the most expensive character breakfasts you can attend but if you have young children who want to meet the Disney princesses in a more informal and relaxed setting it’s worth the cost.

We arrived about 20 minutes late for our 8am booking, due to the very long lines at the epcot bag check area, but the staff were very accommodating and assured us we would be seated quickly and hadn’t missed out on anything.

Once inside our 2 daughters got individual complementary photos with Belle, these were delivered to the table before we paid out bill and we were quickly shown to our table. The cold buffet is presented very well with lots of fresh fruit, pastries, cheese and meats to choose from. The waitress brought a large plate of hot food to our table shortly afterwards. This contained Sausage, Bacon, Hash Browns and scrambled eggs. We also got a plate of mickey mouse shaped waffles which looked better than they tasted. The princess parade is an excellent idea and each of the princesses came to our table to spend some time with the children individually. They were happy to pose for photos and sign the autograph books.

Overall this is a great experience and the food is okay but you are paying for an character experience here not a dining one.

Our meal for four came to around $200. This is only one meal option on the dining plan, so well worth it. We would have been waiting in line for HOURS to see and take photos with the princesses. An 8x10 and several 3x5s were included in the price, and the other princesses come around to your table. We saw and took pictures with Belle, Snow White, Cinderella, Aurora, and Ariel. The service is very good. We had a cute young girl who was actually from Norway who waited on us. The food...well...I guess it depends on what you order and if you like Norwegian food. The American options are somewhat limited. If I'm being totally honest, if it weren't for the princesses being there we wouldn't have selected this restaurant and would only give a lukewarm recommendation. The food was not anything to write home about in my opinion. The safest option is the beef tips, which my husband described as "great". Our Snow White was so insanely into character we had a BLAST just watching her walk around. Because of all the time it saved in "collecting characters", I do recommend this restaurant as a character dining experience.
