The restaurant is an authentic Brazilian-American "Churrascaria" or steakhouse that combines the cuisines of Southern Brazil with the generous spirit of Texas.Treat yourself to our 50-60 item seasonal salad area including appetizers, gourmet vegetables, soups, and salads. Turn your place card to green and prepare to be swarmed by a troop of carvers generously serving various cuts of seasoned beef, lamb, pork, chicken and Brazilian sausage, all accompanied by traditional side items and house-baked Brazilian cheese bread. As you dine endlessly on Brazilian fare, let one of our in-house wine connoisseurs select the perfect pairing from our extensive, award-winning wine lists, or sip on a freshly-made signature cocktail-the Caipirinha. Complete your dining experience with one of our many decadent dessert selections, and then relax with an after-dinner drink, steaming espresso and enjoy the ambiance and service perfection that is uniquely Texas de Brazil.

“Not Fogo but pretty good”
Reviewed March 4, 2014

We have been to Fogo De Chao numerous times and this was our first visit to a Texas de Brazil.

Our breakdown between the two:

Service - Fogo wins hands down. Texas was very inconsistent. Drinks weren't refilled, meats were slow to arrive, and the servers were hard to hunt down at times.

Salad Bar - A push. Fogo seems a tad fresher but Texas had a great Bisque and some other sides.

Sides - Texas. Fogo has some pretty bad mashed potatoes and the Texas garlic mashers were excellent. Others were similar between the two.

Meat - Tie. Texas had more flavor on a few meats but it seemed more from salt. Both offer similar meats. Texas had more pork but most of it was dry (as was the chicken). Beef was a little better at Texas than Fogo.

Dessert - Fogo is the big winner. Texas desserts were just off.

Bonus to Fogo on their lime drinks.

So Fogo is a 5 star and Texas a 4 star.

“Best steaks & buffet bar ever”
Reviewed March 4, 2014 via mobile

The quality & quantity are outstanding. It's by far the best restaurant I have ever been too. The buffet bar is not your usual low quality fillers meant to keep your steak consumption low. Every item in the bar was high quality.

“Wonderful”
Reviewed March 4, 2014

Food amazing, service was great. They have a very large salad bar with other items like sushi (so-so) and great soup, I was surprised how much I liked it since I was there for meat and not soup. It is large and can get noisy but it was fun, ribs were the only "ok" thing I had. It's not cheap but for what you get it, it is a good deal.

“Great meal/ noisy and overpriced for kids......”
Reviewed March 3, 2014

I saw online that kids 3-12 were 5 dollars but was charged 25 when there. Meats were great and salad bar was very good. 50 bucks for dinner though is pretty pricey adn not something I would do every day. Was also told on phone that for birthday you get free dessert but not so when I got there either. Very noisy inside also.
