I stayed at the hotel with my sister and brother-in-law in a two room suite.

The accommodations were nice, but the staff and service at the bar was horrible.

When we checked in it was like we were bothering the staff, and that we were just another paying customer. There was no gratitude for staying there, or appreciation for our business.

The bartender at the outside pool bar was too busy talking to other patrons instead of bartending and providing service. The bar closes at 11, and one night they had Karaoke that was horrible outside by the bar.

If you are interested in an apartment type of setting, then you may like this place, but I was looking for some relaxation with service.

Thank you for your comments. Although we’re pleased to know you thought your accommodations were nice, we sincerely apologize that your check-in experience, as well as the service you received at our poolside bar, both of which fell well short of the high standards we strive for in all aspects of our operations, left you understandably disappointed. Again, we apologize and absolutely assure you we’ll be sharing your comments with our entire Leadership Team on-site so they can also benefit from your perspective and use them in a positive, proactive manner moving forward.

This was our third time staying at this Hilton Grand Vacation Club and we've loved it every time. The hotel is beautiful. The grounds are gorgeous and peaceful - we love taking walks on the walking trail around the lake. The rooms are very clean, updated, and comfortable. We stayed in the 1 bedroom suite which was perfect. Staff is friendly and helpful. I love that the outlet mall is literally across the parking lot from the hotel. There are also many restaurants nearby and it's close to Disney, etc. We will definitely be staying here again the next time we visit the area and would definitely recommend.

We had another great stay 18-23 NOV 2013 - we stayed in Bldg 7, 8th floor, 7801 (2BR) and 7802 (Studio) that had a connecting door. View from this high up allowed us to see some fireworks (around 9pm nightly). Love the screened in porches, ceiling fans, and large dining/sitting area. The kitchen was fine, washer / dryer were fine, Whirlpool tub worked well. Everything was fine AS USUAL. Pools are beautiful, dive-in movie was nice, we used the kids playground, hot tubs, lake fountains, on-site food -- all good (even if a bit pricey). Convenient to all the parks (even went to Tampa/Busch Gardens), IF you have a car, Publix grocery, Subway sandwiches, Outback Steakhouse, McDonald's is across the street, and Outlet Mall connects to bldg 7 parking lot. It was clear that we only got maid service for stays of 7 days or more (we only stayed 6 days - so we did seek out fresh supplies mid-week).

Room Tip: Bldg 7 is next to the gated exit/entrance and also near the outlet mall secret access gate, but it...

Just back from a three-night stay. We had a one bedroom suite that was well-equipped. Loved the screened in patio. The beddings for the pullout sofa bed were dirty, but they quickly resolved the issue. It was a bit far going from building three to the main building to get a taxi. However, you can call to get a golf cart pick-up. Door staff were very friendly but not always that knowledgable. Cost to Universal was about $30 with tip each way in a cab. If you are fortunate enough to catch the iTrolley, it is only $2 per person, but good luck with that. Also, the trolley takes too long. The resort needs a better option for breakfast. Pools looked a lot nicer in the photos than in person. We passed litter that stayed on the sidewalk for an entire day. Otherwise, this place was well kept. I would go back but have to factor in cost of taxis. They really add up!

The place is really huge, so a real hike to services and pool. Far from Universal and Disney World, but very close to discount mall. I WAS DISAPPOINTE THAT IN THE 5 DAYS WE WERE THERE, NOBODY CAME TO CLEAN OUR ROOM.

We have stayed here several times and consider it the best of the HGV's in Orlando. It is convenient to grocery shopping and the large premium discount mall. Access to the major roads to all the parks is not congested and just minutes away. What I also love about this place is the desk. It's not big but we've stayed in many HGV's around the country and this is one of two that has a place for your computer off the dining room table. The other HGV is the 57th Street in NY City and they don't have kitchens so the desk is necessary. With today's travelers I don't understand why they can't add that piece of furniture as standard. We all travel with computers and it is such a bother to always move it to set the table.

The amenities of the one bedroom are on par with expectations. The kitchen has no spices and basic cooking equipment so if you plan on using the grill or cook bring your own spices. I have a small kit that I keep packed for our trips with spices, sugar, coffee filters etc. The grills are nice and the staff will turn it on for you. The TV doesn't have many stations and would recommend getting a Google Chromecast Streaming Media Player or something similar that can be hooked into the TV for movies. This is on my list for Christmas. They do have WiFi but we found it very slow.

Beds are nice and the one bedroom has the whirlpool tub that is plenty big. Great for unwinding after a day at the parks. Washer Dryer combo means you don't need to pack as much. Porch off living room with table for eating and nice views of the lake and grounds.

We brought the grand kids last year and they loved the playground and the pools.

Great place when traveling, it is so nice to have room to sit and stretch out. It also spoils you so you don't want to stay in just a hotel room any more.

We loved our stay here at Hilton GVC. Friendly staff, abundant amenities as pools, grills, even a Starbuck's. Our studio unit was nice, but we were upgraded to a one bedroom...wow! Like a small apartment. Washer-dryer, marble counters, enclosed glass shower, full kitchen, 2 fiat screen tvs and a private patio, bar and dining area. Looking forward to next time.
