This was our first character breakfast of our week at Disney. We had a perfectly lovely dinner the night before at Jiko and loved our resort The Animal Kingdom Lodge. When we arrived at the beautiful Grand Floridian Resort I had high hopes for this breakfast. I was very disappointed when we entered a dining room that looked like it came straight out of a 1980's Holiday Inn. Seriously Disney time for an update to this room!! This was by far the worst breakfast food in our entire Disney experience. Waffles were kind of stale, eggs were cold and tasteless, the grits were blah. Basically I could have had this same buffet at any mediocre hotel. Service was ok - takes a long time to get your drink or get a refill. The saving grace of this restaurant is the character experience. My daughter loved seeing Alice in Wonderland, Winnie the Pooh, Tigger, and Mary Poppins. Very overpriced for the quality of the food and the lame atmosphere.
