“Great service but food falls below expectations”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 12, 2013 via mobile

Primo at the JW Grand Lakes is an elegant setting and the service was as good as any restaurant where we've fined this year, but the pork Saltimboca was far too salty and the spiciness of the sauce on my pasta course overwhelmed the flavor of the fresh rigatoni. The Chicken main course was outstanding. A pasta course and a second course with one drink for each of us totaled $140 before tip, about 20% more expensive than better restaurants nearby. That said, the service was perfection, which I have to again commend, and I recognize that even the best chefs have off nights. With all the positive reviews, it's worth a try if you're staying at Grand Lakes.

“High quality ingredients”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 7, 2013

Don't expect Maine, we love Primo in Maine. However, the menu is fresh and Primo uses top ingredients in their cooking. The restaurant offers many local foods with an Italian flair. Decent wine list and fair service.

“Great dinner at Primo”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 7, 2013

I was visiting Orlando for a work conference. After a long day of lectures, Primo provided and excellent dining option in Orlando. Nice quiet table with great service. The antipasti was huge for two to share. Delicious down to the last bite. The octopus salad was also flavorful and grilled to perfection (not dry). The gnocchi and my straw and hay pasta dish were also innovative. All around nice dining option in Orlando inside the JW Marriott.

“Outstanding restaurant”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 29, 2013

Our group of 6 had a wonderful experience. The server was very knowledgeable and attentive and provided excellent service. We mostly had seafood, which was excellent.
The restaurant is a bit on the expensive side, but in my opinion it provides a good value for the price.
