The fish and chips were good but a pint of Bass was the most expensive I have ever paid for a beer. At over £6 that is expensive. The staff were very friendly though and attentive.

The ambience here is superb and the staff VERY friendly.
Regrettably the night we were there our experience wasn't the best.
Our server took quite a bit of time to arrive and when she did apologized profusely.
We ordered the grilled shrimp with Bloody Mary sauce but when the shrimp cames, they were steamed not grilled.

Very good but not as advertised on the menu.
We ordered the New York strip steak with mushrooms and of course no mushrooms arrived with the dish.

My wife had to actually get up to find a server to order a second drink. No one would make eye contact.

All restaurants have bad nights occasionally and I suspect this was one of those times.
Perhaps a lack of qualified management that may have been under pressure that night? Possibly.

We certainly will return but this wasn't the best of experiences.

My husband and I have made yearly trips to Disney World for the past several years, and Rose & Crown is our one must-visit. The food is good; occasionally we'll get something that's only so-so, but it's rare, most of it is great. The cheese plate appetizer is always good, and the fish and chips are a favourite. The thing that keeps us coming back is the service; every waiter or waitress we've had is friendly, happy and wonderful to talk to. We've had birthdays and anniversaries at Rose & Crown and the staff always go out of their way to make it special. Often times at other restaurants in Disney there's a sense to get up and out so they can turn the table; we've never felt that way at Rose & Crown, and last visit were told to feel free to sit and stay as long as we like if we'd like to catch the fireworks. We'll be back next visit!

We had reservations at 815 (made months ago), fireworks were at 9pm. This is one of 2 restaurants on the water. They leave the outdoor tables for reservations, indoor for patrons with no reservations but they do have an outdoor viewing area. Our view was great!! It was a little chilly but they had heaters and it was quite comfortable. Our waiter was GREAT and the food was wonderful. I had the salmon, husband had the pork. Both great. Dessert sampler was yummy as well. We would eat there again.

I don't know if it's because we were just sick of burgers and chicken tenders, but the food here was quite good. We didn't have a reservation, and it just started raining so we had to wait about 45 minutes (a little longer than they told us) but the food was worth it, the vegetarian version of shepherds pie and the fish & chips were delicious. We will definitely go back the next time we are in Epcot.
