“Great experience. 2nd Year in a Row.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 26, 2013 via mobile

Fun time. Great food and very entertaining staff. We had a group of 10. Yummy Mai Tais. Celebrated a friend's birthday and it was a huge surprise for him...thanks to the servers. They made it very special. The only complaint is that the food is so good and you get so much food that I felt overstuffed! They will take a photo of your group and put on their website. It was a perfect night.

“First Time at Kobe Loved it !!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 26, 2013

We called into Kobe by chance as a group of 3 on a busy Saturday night in Orlando. We were sat at a large table and didn't know what to expect. Soon became clear you order your steak , chicken or seafood and a Japanese guy with a sense of humour cooks it in front of you. As well as your meat dish you get noodles , veg , mushrooms and rice . I went for the fillet steak and lobster and my friends had the chicken . It was all delicious and the chef put on a good show throwing knives and causing fire and flames at will ! A great experience and a reasonable price. Maybe if we went back the show would be a bit samey but would recommend everyone to go at least once.

“Really nice experience - Kissimmee location (Irlo Bronson)”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 24, 2013

We went here for a birthday celebration while on a trip to Disney World. They have a dinner for 2 special after 9am and it is the Teppan style with beef, chicken and shrimp with fried rice and fried noodles. Overall the meal was good. The fried rice isn't as good as Benihana but this was way cheaper. We had so much food - we all took doggie bags home. They banged a drum and gave the birthday person a special chef hat to wear. Lots of good fun. We also had sushi (which we shouldn't have because the rest of the meal was so big) and I am from Vancouver and we have some of the best sushi and this one wasn't bad. The chefs are corny and entertaining. I can see you could get tired of it all the time but every once in a while - it's a lot of fun. If you are planning to go for a birthday - sign up online for their birthday special ahead of time (it's basically a free meal) but they send you a coupon by mail. We didn't have enough time but for the future - you'll need about 6-8 weeks to get the coupon by mail.

“Typical tourist geared affair”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 23, 2013

This place has lost it's appeal. You can tell that the recession has hit the business because the quality has dropped and the price has stayed the same. Kobe' used to be a more formal experience, and was worth the price...now it's just a desperate attempt to get every last penny out of you. The service is good-because they are hoping to sell you more drinks. If you order just one alcoholic drink, you can anticipate a waitress hounding you with every sip. The food was OK, and by that I mean a little better than average Japanese cuisine. The entertainment becomes a little redundant if you have dined with Kobe before.

“Strange tempura”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 20, 2013

My daughter's pepper steak was above average, but the tempura wasn't good at all. The batter was not the light Japanese coating, more of fried chicken style...ugh. The waiter was really nice though. Just don't order tempura.
