“Very Good Food”
Reviewed April 2, 2014

Although a fine dining restaurant there are elements there and some missing.

Appetizers, $9 -$16 presentation excellent, tasty, cooked perfectly and well presented
Entrées, $30 - $43 again presentation excellent , tasty, cooked perfectly and well presented
Service, are waiter was a 20 year employee, we were not rushed and did not get that feeling either the dinner was relaxed.

So why a 3 star rating, place settings, water comes in regular glass tumblers, flat wear just placed on napkin (gives it a just thrown on table look), it is a family style restaurant although I have to say the kids were well behaved who ranged from toddlers in strollers on up, dress code from cut-offs to tank tops. To me this takes away from the fine dinning experience which is also what one pays for. But then again it is Disney.

“Not worth two dining credits!”
Reviewed March 30, 2014 via mobile

We ate here last week - the food was good but nothing special, ad certainly not worth spending two credits if you're on the dining plan! We had several vegetarians in our party, and our server didn't seem to have any recommendations beyond what was on the menu. (That said, the coconut tofu was delicious.) A friend ordered the filet, which came out lukewarm. The best part of my meal was the margarita sampler. I'd heard so many great things about HBD, but our visit was pretty disappointing.

“Delicious!”
Reviewed March 26, 2014

The steak is absolutely delicious. My husband and I usually split the dish. It is very filling, plus he does get the Cobb salad as an appetizer. We have had our own individual steak and for some reason it doesn't taste as good as when we ask them to split the meal for us.

“Still a favorite, a few flaws”
Reviewed March 23, 2014

I like the HBD. The food is good, menu has a nice selection, great cocktails, and decent wine values. My only criticism is the inconsistency with getting the courses out hot and in a timely manner. This time our appetizers came out quickly, only to have a seemingly long wait for the entrees. Only a problem if you are trying to make Fantasmic, conveniently located to the restaurant. That said , the friendly wait staff will make up for it by reciting interesting trivia about the original. Another recently added bonus is the outside bar, where Aaron is a first rate mixologist and happy to whip up your favorite cocktail or suggest one.

“Fantasmic Package worth it!”
Reviewed March 19, 2014

Server was great, food was ok. Best part was choosing the Fantasmic Packing which allowed us to sit in a reserved area for show. We arrived to show 25 minutes early, sat in 3rd row and we were not crowded at all.
