We dined at High Tide Harry's on our last visit to Orlando a few years ago and wanted to go again. Our GPS took us to the old location! But we found the new place (opened 2 1/2 years ago!) right next to Joe's Crab Shack!! The parking lot was pretty full, but we were seated right away. They had a great selection of beer and an extensive menu. The portions were generous and everything was quite tasty. We got hush puppies with a cinnamon spread which was free and had conch fritters for an appetizer - they were delicious (we were recommended to go to H T H before in search of conch fritters) I had the grouper and hubby had shrimp. The corn on the cob was as good as at home! We don't get to Orlando often but hope to go again if only to eat here!

In the tourist trap area just outside Orlando airport. Atmosphere was good. Friendly & nice bar area. Daily specials are a great value. I was there on a Wednesday night & the special was 2 dozen Apalachicola Cove FL oysters were excellent. Laid back atmosphere.

We had seafood in Cocoa Beach this weekend and although it was yummy, I was thinking that I can't wait to get back to Orlando to have High Tide's! You cannot beat this place for prices. Since they moved to the new locale, the atmosphere is so much nicer and more appealing. Friends and family request to go there when they come back to visit. 2 things not to be missed there: the fish bowl of beer (the coldest beer ever) and the raw oysters. Just because it's Central Florida does not mean you can't have great seafood at extremely reasonable prices. Go there - you won't be disappointed.
