I've passed by Chan's more times than I can count and I finally decided to stop by recently. Here are some tips to help you
1) Location - it's on the north side of E Colonial Drive about 1.5 miles off I4. Keep in mind that there is heavy traffic on this street and in rush hour it will take about 10 mins to get there from I4.
2) Parking - plenty of free parking
3) Decor - traditional chinese decor, well done, with an impressive display of gold dragons on the main wall
4) Service - acceptable
5) FOOD - there is a WIDE variety of food on the menu and something for everybody. The portions are generous - that includes apps, entrees, and especially for soups. All seem to be meant for sharing. The items for my meal were all good but not quite flavorful enough for me. Presentation was adequate for not special.
My experience was good and I am glad I finally tried it but I am doubtful to return as there are so many other places I want to try on this street too.
