Description: CAFÉ TU TU TANGO was founded in 1991 by three friends who had just returned from a trip to Barcelona, Spain. While in Barcelona they marveled at the creativity and culture that surrounded them at so many of the cafe’s and coffee shops...artists scribbling sketches, writers working on novels, poets weaving sonnets together as they shared inspirations, encouraged one another’s creativity and noshed on small plates of unique and eclectic foods. These friends began imagining ways to bring this magic back home with them; and this was the genesis of the super creative, always evolving and sensory invoking experience that is our locally owned Café Tu Tu Tango!

Restaurant? Yes. Art gallery? Yes. Entertainment? Yes.

Restaurant part - tapas of the unique kind. Fused with variety. Portions really are for two, not more. The creations, some standard fare and some created different each week, was mostly excellent. I'm not crazy about raw quail egg as a morsel on the tuna plate!

Art gallery part - artists painting or making jewelry in the restaurant with art for sale. Kind of interesting.

Entertainment part - lol....lit ball twirling one person show a time or two an evening. Pump up the music and twirl away young lady!

Go enjoy. It's fun and good food. Without cocktails/beer, expect a $65-75 per couple bill, includes tip, which is not bad.

This is a neat place with local artwork, with the indoor environment looking like that of an art studio, serving small dishes of food. Aim for the more exotic dishes, which have much more taste.

Tried this on a whim, we were visiting and it is close to where we were heading too. The decor hooked us and would have been enough by itself. Then the food...

We arrived during brunch and they have an all you can eat special, appetizer portions of anything on the menu. $25/adult, $10/child. It was awesome. They kept bringing dishes out so we could try everything, and what we liked we ordered more of. Usually you have to go back and back to try everything on the menu, Cafe Tu Tu Tango let's you try just about win one sitting.

This is a cool spot. There is local art hanging all over for sale and an artist was there painting while we ate. We had alligator dip which was great and dynamite shrimp lettuce wraps where we're excellent. We also had sangria which was priced correctly but rather small on the portion size.

I would eat here again.

I've been here three times now, spread over 5 years. There are a wide variety of menu options to choose from and it is fun to get to try things that you may not usually order. I've always gone with a group, and we let each person order a dish, but the rule is that no one can repeat someone else's order. Then we share everything (we usually go through a few rounds of this). They used to have a wonderful dessert on the menu that is no longer there--the chocolate calzone. However, they will still make it for you if you ask for it. If you like chocolate, you will love it! Great atmosphere for a group looking to have a fun evening.
