A branch of the small slightly upscale but inexpensive chain specialising in fish but also doing wonderful steaks etc. Crab cakes are really light, no stodgy potato added, all crab. Best I have ever tasted - and I have had thousands! Their lobster was also up there with the greats without costing an arm and a leg. They cook it over a wood fired grill and its taste is truly amazing. The scallop and shrimp combo was also amazing. Side choices (included) are more interesting than the usual offerings e.g. potatoes au gratin, steamed veggies, chick peas, rice ....as well as the usuals. There are lots of fresh fish choices too at prices no more than less classy chains. All perfectly cooked. Scrummy bread included. Perfect martinis and manhattans at the bar. i have only one complaint about this branch - music much too loud. It was a sunday evening and only half full but you still had to shout over the music. Turn it down!!! (Not true at other branches we have visited.) We ate there the next night too - they welcomed us back like family and yet again ALL the food was spectacular - especially the very reasonably priced fillet steak. Terrific. The restaurant is situated on sand lake rd - orlando's restaurant row. the locals live and eat in this area and although it is close to universal and international drive the tourists don't seem to find it. there are about 50 restaurants in 2 miles - everything from small oriental to flashy polynesian.
