I have been wanting to eat at Boma for years now, but we never seemed to work it into our Disney vacations. This trip, I finally went....and it was so good that I immediately rescheduled a 2nd dinner there!

The first dinner there was me and my 9 year old son. I was not sure if the cuisine would be too exotic for him or not - but he LOVED it! Although some foods are new and unique, the flavors were delicious and we both loved the salmon, beef, pap, soups, and salads. I think there was just 1 thing that we tried that we did not care for. And the desserts were so incredibly delicious! After hearing people rave about the zebra domes, I finally understand why. YUM!

The 2nd dinner there was with a group of our friends. We had a total of 10 people - including 4 children whose ages ranged from 4-9. Everyone - even the young children had plenty of foods that they loved. Don't let the new or different foods scare you off - this is truly delicious. They do vary the menu some during the week - there was a different type of salmon and some different soups/salads on our 2nd visit there. The nut crusted salmon and the squash soup were 2 favorites of our entire group.

The atmosphere and service was also top notch! Next trip, we are planning to eat 2 dinners and 1 breakfast here. Try it - you won't be disappointed!

We decided to book early for Boma as we were on the Disney Dining Plan, and so glad we did.

It got really busy and for good reason. There is so much to choose from lots of different and unique dishes.
There is a fresh carved meat counter with potatoes and the trimmings, then soups, starters and different main including chicken and curries etc.

The puddings were small and very nice so you can have loads!

Drinks were refilled on request the fresh orange juice was lovely.

The staff do a walk through singing and beating the drums, this really gets you in the mood, all very happy and smiley.

The shop in the lobby is full of amazing items we spent ages in there, so be warned we nearly came out with a 6ft wooden giraffe until we thought how will we get it back across the pond!

This is a really good night out, only trouble is getting there and back from your hotel. We got the bus to AK then a bus to the hotel followed by a $10 taxi ride back to the All Star Resort.
Wish we had the hire car on that night let me tell you!

Do not be afraid of a different  cuisines and spices. There is something delicious here for everyone. The selection is presented on a very long buffet that your waiter will tour with you on request. Make sure to make your reservation, it is very popular.

This is a very good buffet. Delicious food with wonderfully different flavors. There are a few items for kids -- meatballs, mac/cheese, pasta. However, you will pay the full price for the kids even if they are just eating a little. We have a 12 year old who does not eat a lot of unusual foods and definitely cannot eat $38 worth of food. Disney really needs a "mid" price range for tweens or juniors. The salads were incredible as were the desserts. Love the atmosphere as well. There were only four meat selections -- prime rib (which if you don't like rare you will not like the prime rib), roasted chicken pieces, salmon, and an African meat/egg dish. The salmon was EXCELLENT. There is a lot of curry in the soups, salads, sides, and on two of the meats. If you don't like curry I would not go to Boma.
